Let's be fair, guys. The ABIII logo isn't much more creative either. Even though the leather style made it look more valuable. :D

It's not about creativity. It's about it looking like it was made in MS Paint in 5 minutes. AB III did not.

This. I would love to know how many hours Dan Tremonti spent on each Creed / Alter Bridge / Tremonti album layout. The box set is literally 3 layers at the most. A black background, a gradient filled X, and the wrong AB logo that's beveled and filled with a metallic texture. lol

That too. The gradient just makes it look like Microsoft Word Art circa 2004 to me.

I finally read through this thread over the last few days. I did keep up with all the ABX drama as it unfolded over the last few years but was fairly inactive on TABN when this thread got going and never felt like reading 50+ pages. Reliving it all over the course of a few days was quite the roller-coaster. More twists and turns than Game of Thrones!

My box set was somewhat damaged when I received it but I was getting ready to move at the time and never followed up on it. I wonder what would happen if I dug it out of my collection now and asked for a replacement. :lol

You've got to love the apologetic "we're going to replace everyone's coffee table books" followed a year later by "you know what, why don't you all wait and see... maybe we'll print the replacements someday."

So, next year will be 2019.
If there will be a XV-box planned, now would be the time to pre-order with approx 1 year delivery-time.

Honestly, even the "wrong" logo from the box set looks better than the plain-ass logo they used on The Last Hero.

Indeed time flies ! Now in the Napalm-webshop : t-shirt celebrating 25 years (?????) of Alter Bridge.
Are they skipping 10 years just to keep Catullo from proposing to produce a XX-box ?

Im sure that the coffee table book for this thread could be printed quicker than any replacements that were needed.
