4 out of 18 songs is quite ridiculous. They know what we want to hear, Bleed it Dry, Fortress, and Water rising play the damn shit!

It is a little worrying that there was nothing from Fortress in that final nine songs or so. I'm sure there'll be more soon though

I really hope The Uninvited is a song that will stick around for all of their shows and tours in the future. That song sounds like it would be a blast to hear in a live setting. Mark does sound kind of funny on the higher parts but it doesn't bother me, I do think it would help if they slowed it down a little bit though because between the first chorus and the second verse something seemed kind of funny, although it kind have just been Myles forgetting the lyrics. =P
Re: Birmingham Show - 17-10-13
The end part of that song did sound a bit rushed to me, but no big deal. I just think Mark should try to sing the chorus instead of trying to scream it.
Re: Birmingham Show - 17-10-13
I think this is the first time that any kind of double bass has really stood out to me, other than the latest album.

It's like they are ashamed of their new songs. "Let's just do 4 of them today, and put them at the first half of the show".

I was kind of put off by that, also. What if at Wembley, they just bust out 8-9 new songs?
Re: Birmingham Show - 17-10-13
Guys any pics from this show???
Re: Birmingham Show - 17-10-13
Sorry no pictures from the show, but just saying this gig was absolutely amazing! I reckon everyone involved did an amazing job - Shinedown included. Only thing is that I would have liked to hear more of Fortress. But didn't matter really because every song was fantastic and everyone knew them all. If they'd played 10 Fortress songs the show wouldn't have had the same atmosphere at all I don't think...

I'm at the Wembley show tonight and I would be amazed if they added more!AB4Lyfe wrote:I was kind of put off by that, also. What if at Wembley, they just bust out 8-9 new songs?

Mark sounds awful on his vocals... perhaps this is a reason they don't wanna do words/waters rising. When it comes to a live setting mark can't sing and play guitar simultaneouslyInconquerable wrote:I really hope The Uninvited is a song that will stick around for all of their shows and tours in the future. Mark sounds bad there because is not on his range and he doesn't sing that part on the album

8 Blackbird songs ?
It's a joke, right ?
Someone should tell them it's not 2007 anymore.
I appreciate the fact that they are finally playing songs at normal speed. But the setlist is still very lazy.

It reminds me of the 2010 board days, when everyone said they'd play WDTTW at Wembley, and in the end, they didn't.AB4Lyfe wrote:I was kind of put off by that, also. What if at Wembley, they just bust out 8-9 new songs?
