A year and a half later, I firmly believe Fortress is AB's best. Blackbird and ABIII are a virtual tie, can't decide between the higher highs of Blackbird vs. the more consistent ABIII

Need to give Fortress more listens but when its all said and done, I think Fortress will be my second favorite overall.

I still agree with my old post. One Day Remains is still their best/most consistent album for me. I actually like every song on One Day Remains, can't say the same for the other three.

Have almost stopped listening to the other two albums. Can't stand them. Wonderful Life, Words Darker, Lover, Waters Rising and couple of others yes, but I just can't listen to ABIII or Fortress without being put off.

ABIII - very underappreciated album, even here, great melodies embedded in rock
Blackbird - classic album
ODR - great come-back (and more) after Creed
Fortress - great album, but can not match the other three, can't help feeling this unfortunately is the first album of the AB-beiing side project-era, they just do not put in enough time and effort anymore, just like the touring afterwards.

No misunderstanding here - all 4 albums absolute masterpieces in todays music-industry
