Re: Addicted To Pain - Chart Performance
What's the point if they can't promote it the way they should?... There's always a unique momentum with the first single which should be utilized to its fullest potential. but it seems as though the guys are too busy to care about promoting ATP. So i really doubt next single will do any better because the whole strategy is messed upDecay wrote:Time for a new single!

Dude, it's AB. Things are supposed to be messed up.
Re: Addicted To Pain - Chart Performance
Had the radio on this afternoon while doing housework. One of the perks of moving is I can hear a great hard rock station now. They played lots of my favorites but no AB so while I was doing dishes I vowed to call in to the station as soon as I was done. As I was finishing, Addicted to Pain came on the radio, first time I've caught it on that station

All right, well, even though they are stuck at #18 in active rock charts. I mean close to 800 plays a week is not bad, and they are still gaining plays per week, and they are about 200 plays above whoever #19. Korn is #1 and they have about 1900 plays. I think AB can get there soon, hopefully.

Re: Addicted To Pain - Chart Performance
When I clicked on the song title to get a list of stations playing it, looked to me like a shorter list than I saw before. But maybe it's also not current/correct because my PA station isn't on it. Anyway, let's put together song request info for stations on this list or our local stations that are playing it but not on the list. Or if this info is on the old board or Wikipedia or whatever someone get us going on it. Even if not for ATP, for the next single it would be good to have that info.

Hopefully, KEGL can play it while I'm listening to the Russ Martin Show on afternoons.

Looked at their website and they did play it late last night and in the wee hours of the morning. Yay! Gonna request it again.
The active rock rank is the same but actually more plays this week. I don't care too much as long about exact rankings or the idiosyncracies of what hits #1 on a particular week, I just want them to be heard.

I can't believe I missed it when I went into the pharmacy for a few minutes but local station played AB at 8pm instead of overnight
Back up to 16 on active rock. And still not listing my station on active rock stations playing AB or anything else I clicked on that I've heard on it.

Re: Addicted To Pain - Chart Performance
I don't understand how 3 days grace is STILL up near the top. Their last album was atrocious. I'm a 3DG fan and I really want to see them live, but after chalk outline I'm having trouble getting why they are still near the top with different songs. They aren't good
Re: Addicted To Pain - Chart Performance
Me neither.
3DG's new album is shit. Chalk Outline is one of the 2-3 songs I liked from the album, actually. The rest is.. ew.
