Oh god. We had this rubbish when WDTTW came out. I distinctly remember having an argument with some dude on here who was telling me it was "how can I behove" instead of "how could I be wrong".

It's always the one that makes sense. He clearly says 'too' in every instance and yeah I'm assuming it's shorthand for "You're too addicted to face the situation therefore, in time, you're going to lose everything". That's just not as catchy.
