(1.) How did you discover Alter Bridge? Long ago when the guys from Creed and some other dude were making an album. A tune of theirs called 'Open Your Eyes' was released on VH1.com in June 2004.
(2.) What is the meaning of the username you chose? Goes wayyyyy back to the late '90s when I wanted a user name that was dark and impactful (The 'y's must've made it sound more badass) The 'Z' was added because it looked like a '2' where I forgot the password to my original 'Nytestryker' hotmail account.
(3.) How do you spend your free time? I play in two bands: Brite-VU & Dublin Vinyl, enjoy reading (I burned though the 'A Song Of Ice & Fire' series in two months this winter), enjoy the outdoors and obviously hanging out with and partying with friends.
(4.) What is the name of one other band you enjoy other than AB? The Allman Brothers Band.
(5.) What is the title of the last movie you watched? Pirate Radio.
(6.) What is something about you that even your closest friends don't know? That I've been posting regularly on TABN for the past 2 years.

(1.) I was a huge Scott Stapp fan and I didn't think Myles could match his vocal abilities so I had to check out AB to prove myself right.

(2.) It's the name of a religious temple that the Aztecs worshipped at. Or it's Paul McCartney's nickname, or it's kinda short for my second name. You can choose whichever you like best.

(3.) I spend a significant amount of my time posting on an internet forum filled with people I never have and probably never will meet.

My brother and I were checking out Creed, a few years ago. We were all pretty impressed with them because we thought it was a Christian band that actually was good. Then we were all bummed to find out that they weren't making music together anymore. But! There was this other, new band: Alter Bridge. The first AB song I ever heard was 'The End Is Here'. The live version.. I was blown away.

Greetings all - love the new forum, great job on the transition plan/process!

(1.) How did you discover Alter Bridge?
I picked up a Metal Hammer mag to read on a flight from Cincinnati to Seattle in 2004. That particular issue had an article about this brand new band, Alter Bridge. After reading the article, I was totally intrigued (had always loved Tremonti in Creed), so as soon as I landed and checked into my hotel, I hunted down the nearest music store and bought One Day Remains. It was love from that moment on.

(2.) What is the meaning of the username you chose?
It is a play off of Audioslave - a band I adore(d) and their website was the first forum I was ever really active on. Plus, a huge part of my life revolves around music, so I guess I am a slave to it at times

(3.) How do you spend your free time?
I work a lot, so do not have a lot of free time, but when I do, I go to concerts, shop, garden, craft

(4.) What is the name of one other band you enjoy other than AB?
Anything Chris Cornell - Audioslave, Soundgarden, solo, TOTD

(5.) What is the title of the last movie you watched?
The newest Sherlock Holmes movie - forget what it was called

I am pretty much an open book with my closest friends, so nothing I can think of. However, I work for a very conservative financial firm and most of my colleagues are quite surprised when they find out I am into modern rock/metal

Me and my cousin were watching CNN's soundcheck and AB was on. So I've immediately fallen in love with them. (I found out about Creed a little bit later, though)

Typical stuff. Guitar, music in general, tv/movies, video games, hanging with the girlfriend and mates. These days I don't seem to do a whole lot though, mostly just surf the web. I blame the internet for shortening my attention span.
