A good friend of mine (Scarface, lol) Showed them to me. I've been a big fan of them ever since.

I love Alter Bridge, and my name is Nick. Haha.

In my free time I mostly listen to music. I also play video games, and I pick up my guitar and play a little here and there.

I enjoy Slipknot, Breaking Benjamin, and Avenged Sevenfold quite a bit.

In Time. It's a decent movie, in my opinion.

I was searching through wrestling highlight videos on youtube and found a Royal Rumble 2004 highlights and the song was "Open Your Eyes". Blew my mind away and found out that they did songs for WWE so that was more of a bonus.

Initial of first name, last name, year of birth.
(3.) How do you spend your free time?
Playing games, reading forums, talking to friends sometimes.

Soundgarden will probably always be my favorite band ever, but I like lots of different bands.

I think it was Salmon Fishing in the Yemen (or something close to that title) - a friend has Netflix and I end up seeing stuff she has.

Wow, that's cool. For whatever reason I wouldn't have thought Chris Cornell and Soundgarden fans would go around recommending AB. And I thought we AB fans were the only ones making the Chris Cornell - Myles Kennedy comparison (which I never quite agreed with, to be honest).

I think it started with someone telling me about Chris being on Slash's multi-singer album, checked out the other songs and they had mentioning liking Myles, and I started using last.fm around the same time and Alter Bridge came up as a recommendation.

The good thing about finding a band years after they start is you have lots of music to enjoy all the sudden

(1.) How did you discover Alter Bridge? About four years ago, thanks to an Italian music television.
(2.) What is the meaning of the username you chose? Never had great fantasy, it's simply my name (Davide) + the name and the number of my favourite basketball player.
(3.) How do you spend your free time? DRUMS, DRUMS, DRUMS, and many many sports.
(4.) What is the name of one other band you enjoy other than AB? Led Zeppelin, Beatles, Pink Floyd, Hendrix, Deep Purple, Muse, but even Italian Rock Music and Indie Rock.
(5.) What is the title of the last movie you watched? Cadillac Records...really don't know how many times I've watched this beatiful movie!

Yeah, you can imagine my face when, after many many days, I've received Jason Terry's T-Shirt, bought online, and after some hour I switch on my computer and see that the Jet had left us to go to Boston...what a bad story! XD

I've been a member of this thread since early this summer, so I figured I'd finally introduce myself.

How did you discover Alter Bridge?
-I actually discovered Alter Bridge through Madden. I can't remember what year it was, I'm guessing 2005 or 2006, but that was the first time I heard Open Your Eyes and I loved it.

What is the meaning of the username you chose?
-AB4Lyfe. The meaning is that Alter Bridge is my favorite band, and unless some band even more amazing comes around, which I doubt, it means Alter Bridge will always be my favorite band.

How do you spend your free time?
-Currently, I'm an undergrad student in college, so I don't necessarily have a whole lot of free time. When I do, I enjoy smoking hookah with my friends, playing video games, and mainly exploring new music or music that I overlooked in the past.

What is the name of one other band you enjoy other than AB?
-I've always loved Evanescence. Not many people support that because they think Evanescence is for women or that it's gothic, but so what? The music is great, the singer is amazing, and I always liked how they incorporate a piano into their songs. I love when bands incorporate orchestral instruments into their music, which is why "Death of Me" by Red is one of my favorite songs. Red is another band I enjoy.

What is the title of the last movie you watched?
-I believe it was The Grey on Netflix this last weekend. Kind of a boring Saturday, and it was listed in the "Popular on Netflix" section, so I figured why not?

What is something about you that even your closest friends don't know?
-This is a tough one, my best friend knows everything about me. However, something he doesn't really know is that I like Romantic Comedies. I have no idea why, but I do.

As you all have noted, I am new here, but I am a old fan from the band. Let's go the questions.

(1.) How did you discover Alter Bridge?
I listened "Open Your Eyes" on the radio in 2004. Since first time I loved two things about it: the voice and the solo. I had to listen a couple of time before I got the name of the band. After, I google it and went straight to buy the CD.

And then, I never stop listen. Some people in my family are a little bit worry.

(2.) What is the meaning of the username you chose?
Well, I had a better username before, but the page had some problems to accept my registration. Before was "blackcrow" in reference to the Blackbird and also Sheryl Crow, another artist I really like it.

Now, it is just my name and the first letter of my last name. Pretty boring.

(3.) How do you spend your free time?
Well, I would answer this with a lot of cliches, so I will pass the question.

(4.) What is the name of one other band you enjoy other than AB?
Guns n Roses was the first band I got into. So, image my reaction once I heard Slash's invitation. I like Led Zeppelin as well and a bunch of grunge stuffs. Like I said before, Sheryl Crow (I know it is odd, but what can I say?)

And since 2006 I love Mayfield Four.

Looper.
