YES! Finally! The 5th video is what the Lover song is really about. It's about BETRAYAL. And it's from HIS perspective, not HERS. Its he who has been betrayed not her. Well done!

The fact that Three days grace got over 49 entrees for "Misery Loves My Company", and Lover got 6 is just sad.

One thing I'm realizing is this whole notion that they need a proper story line that goes with the video is just not true. Some of the more popular music vids on youtube don't have a storyline with actors. Actually the more I watch video number 5 the more I hate it. No creativity really. Women has an affair with brother? really?

Just pick the first video and call it a day. At least they thought outside the box and were creative and did a very professional job.

I don't know. #1 would probably be my second choice. From a film-making perspective, I thought #5 was the most well put together. I loved how it made use of the song structure in telling the story; the dreamy intro mixed with the photographs coming back to life and the transition into reality as the band kicks in was a great mood setter; and it actually managed to use the awkward moment of silence after the "still I'm holdin' on," line to its advantage. The first one had some great thought-provoking images but the whole slow motion thing gets a little tiring after a while personally.

Just re-watched #5. I didn't catch the reference to the guys being brothers the first time. I agree that it feels a little forced, but I still think it is an effective video overall.

After watching all 17 videos ( if there aren't any other) I think the 5th one fits the bill and should win.

17 now? What the hell were people waiting for? LOL. Seems like a ton were uploaded in a short amount of time versus the first 4 or 5. It was only 12 or 13 when I watched yesterday.
