So I've been browsing AB's twitter feed and I found a retweet from someone posting a picture of a page from Kerrang Magazine and there's a article (probably an interview) about Myles and he stated that AB knows they have to bring their A Game to Download, tommorow. Does anyone have the whole article? Here's what I found from twitter.

Im really hoping we get an announcement about some more US tour dates soon. Especially west coast dates. Im not opposed to following them down the coast for a few shows.

They're playing a festival in Kentucky in October...would be cool if they played one or two more shows close to there for my sake.

Well, I think I've given up on an AB LA show, right now, and focusing my sights on going to that Myles/Slash/Conspirators show in Temecula, CA in August. It's only a little over an hour from where I am and I think I have connections that could finagle me some tickets.

Cry of Achilles is 27 on active rock and 23 on the rock chart! Lets not forget about it, request!

Still think thats such a badass name for a song.

And yet, my local radio station is too busy playing Five Finger Death Punch and Volbeat at all hours of the day to give a shit. :(

The great thing about people playing covering AB on youtube is that they are instrumental, at times, and I can karaoke sing along with them. Granted, I can't sing that well.

^ I can't speak for the rest of the world, but it seems like the entire United States has a boner for those two bands, and I just don't get it
I mean, if that's you're cup of tea, then good for you. But the oversaturation of them on the radio just kills any amount of interest I would have had in those bands.

All right (why do I always start my posts with all right all the time? I need something new to open my posts).

Anywho (another word I use), in the events that Alter Bridge once again goes back to Europe in winter 2015 as rumored, which bands do you guys think will open for them? I got to think they may bring Sevendust, but that's all I could think of without the supporting band being a repeat from the last few years. What do you guys think may be the opening band?

Alter Bridge's Mark Tremonti has gone and won the Riff Lord award, sponsored by Century Media.

The Alter Bridge and Creed fret-flailer has got his hands on the coveted Century Media Riff Lord award at the Orange Amplification Presents The Metal Hammer Golden Gods In Association With World Of Tanks. He was presented the award by his bandmate Myles Kennedy.

This was a non-voted category. Last year's winner was Thin Lizzy's Scott Gorham.
Yay! Another award to the AB camp!!! We didn't even need to spend hours panicking and voting. Those are the good victories.

Just saw this. Cool! I'll be at work, but I'll try and chime in for it.
