Yeah man, have fun. As for pics. My wife is a casual fan. She hums AB melodies in the car when I'm driving. So she's my photographer while I'm rocking out.

Well, finally saw a setlist for that festival in Kentucky that they did yesterday. Can anyone guess what it is? Here's a hint. They only got like 40 min. to work with.

Yep, I was there on Saturday.
Huge crowd, much bigger than I was anticipating. had to be well over 20k, maybe much much more. They had two main stages and they alternated acts so there was nearly ZERO setup time in between. All bands except the last few had about 35 minutes.
AB played addicted to pain, come to life, cry of achilles, metalingus, blackbird, rise today, isolation.
It was a great lineup with so many great bands. But I really still prefer smaller clubs shows personally.

It's cool that they are closing with a different song (festivals anyway).

I just wish they trust themselves to close with Open Your Eyes in festivals and headlining shows in general.

Re: USA Fall/Autumn Tour 2014
One of the best nights of my life, Mark said he remembered me from three years ago. Got my guitar signed. Met Myles fucking Kennedy, and of course the rest of the band. Seriosly some of the nicest guys, but you guys already knownit, but to experience it first hand is awesome. Made it pretty clear to Mark that he is my inspiration, that guy fucking rocks. Sang every single lyric at the top of my lungs, on the rail, all night. I love you AB.
Oh and myles did kinda a medley with WOY and Wonderful Life. Just thought it was cool he played it, judt cause some girl wanted him to play it. Heard bleed it dry during soundcheck. Some asshole next to me was acting tired the whole time. Get off the rail if you're gonna sleep the whole time. Good lord that was 1000x better than when I saw them during ABIII's cycle, in every aspect. Oh and the bass booms(808 blasts i think?) are fucking awesome. Was in front of Mark the whole time, that man is an absolute beast. If you're questioning seeing them live, and havent seen them at all during this tour, go, do yourself a favor. Go.
TL;DR: Had an amazing time and met my favorite band ever. Life made.

Is this setlist correct? If so, I'm glad the Come To Life - White Knuckles - Brand New Start cluster is gone. Great to see Fortress in there as well.

Really good setlist IMO. Watching some vids I can tell that they were a bit rusty but they seemed to have a lot of fun
Re: USA Fall/Autumn Tour 2014
So Myles is touring with AB and Slash right now? Insane.

Yeah that was pretty funny that setlist is correct timo. Myles sounds top notch, and the band is tight as ever. Really was just a great show, hoping to catch Tremonti when he comes around with the solo band.
Someone behind me made the comment the comment that Myles seemed really happy to be back with AB last night, and he definitely was having a blast, enjoying every moment. They also said that it seems like he enjoys it more to be with AB, due to not having to sing someone elses songs, with Slash, and being able to express his own music more often(playing guitar, his own lyrics, etc.) Idk, just made me think, especially since he was just having the time of his life up there.

"song someone elses song" If that's true; then that's good! Find a new singer, Slash, Because it looks like Myles is getting bored of you! and so Myles can put out his solo record!austinjhnsn wrote:Yeah that was pretty funny that setlist is correct timo. P.S - totally did not expect the little twist at the ending of the song.

Yeah totally forgot that they did that at the end of Fortress, and then at the end of Rise Today i believe? Fortress could be a good closer honestly.
Oh and yeah I typed on my phone in like 2 minutes so i wouldnt be surprised if there were more mistakes, but you get the point

Lol, that ending of Fortress was so cheesy.
I still think it's a pretty boring setlist, but having Fortress in there so early in the tour gives hope.
