Its quite surreal isnt it...? The idea of Alter Bridge wheels turning, its been so long since "material" and "writing" were used when discussing AB. I love this!

That's hard to believe. It doesn't feel like 'Watch Over You' leaked that long ago.

It seems like it was just yesterday that I was 15 eagerly awaiting Blackbird. Time has fucking flown by the last five years.

I don't know. Personally, it seems kind of like forever since that white board picture of the AB III tracks leaked. I'm ready for new AB music!

Yeah, hard to believe that it was 5 years ago. I remember that board was blowing up crazy about that release.

I'm personally not much excited for this as i was with ABIII, that's mostly because what i've been hearing lately though, i really REALLY hope the songs will be a bit more different and unique this time instead of just the ''standard'' Tremonti stuff, then again, i've really started to grow out of this genre and style of music lately so it could just be me

The fact that we're actually going to get a 4th Alter Bridge album is an amazing feeling, one day we're gonna have a physical CD to play, with artwork and lyrics and new band photos and everything!

Not a bad release schedule..! Seems like a 4th album would be rushing things, but in 9 years.. Not bad!

That would be great but judging from how Slash incorporates Myles into all of his ideas raises doubts that they can release it in 2013.

It doesnt take a year to release an album lol, they could do it in 2 months if they wanted bro. 3 Doors Down wrote and recorded an album in 17 days... Thats why they called it 'Seventeen Days'.. And its probably their best record.

It can be done, even if its November/December 2013, its 2013. With Creed and Tremonti side lined for a few months, they have more than enough time, as professional musicians to put something awesome together

Not to mention they've said countless times that they're constantly writing and coming up with new ideas, so the thought of them coming back together after this year mostly apart, and putting those ideas together to come up with finished songs, isn't too far fetched. These guys are machines.

AB III was recorded in spring of 2010 and released the same fall. I'd expect this album to follow a similar schedule.

Probably so, they more or less just need to get together and hammer out ideas. I'd imagine they can finish the whole thing in about 6 weeks, similar to how AB III was done.

I hope Mark stops taking inspiration from generic metal bands with chugga chugga riffs

And I know it's their forte, but I could go an album without an ILM, Blackbird, WOY, Wonderful Life type of song. I understand that death is a powerful thing, but they need to vary up their subject matter a bit more.
