I love AB, but they haven't always been the greatest at marketing and pushing their brand. I was hopeful the sound of Fortress indicated a better willingness to take risks and push their envelope, then the set lists and lack of publicity in the US was kinda discouraging. This choice for a single though, especially if it's not cut, fills me with hope. Anyone who has heard this song loves it. Now a bunch of new people will hear it.

The rock station here in Denver is a POS, but I'm gonna break their telephones and emails requesting this song.

I don't know. It's a fine line. Either you show there's real interest in a song from the general listeners or it's just the same crazy group AB fans requesting song everywhere.

The radio stations were annoyed so they requested AB to tell the fans to stop. As long we don't go overboard, it should be fine. I think Michael's point back then was you can request the song like crazy at your local station, but don't do it for every rock station out there.

I'd say it's more likely that one or both of the solos gets cut. Also, the bridge before Myles takes his.

Mark already said that if it was gonna be a single they weren't gonna cut it, and they shouldnt. It might deter some stations, but its such an incredible song that you have to keep it. There isn't one lull in the entire song
