If this setlist is correct it looks like it was a fantastic show!

I love that they kept Slip in there and that it opened the encore, great spot for it.

One Day Remains was moved from the 7th song to right after Slip To The Void.

Relax. It's the first show. The new album has only been out a matter of days for most people so playing a Fortress heavy set before anyone really knows the songs would most likely alienate people and kill the atmosphere. Over the next few weeks people will be more familiar with Fortress and they'll start introducing more songs.

It's a hard balancing act now there's 4 albums to go off. They'll never make everyone happy but Mark did say they wrote Fortress with the live setting in mind so they'll want to play those songs as much as possible.

Keep in mind that Mark said they were very wary of the fact that the album isn't out in the US so they didn't want to play too many new songs the crowd didn't know. I'd expect them to add 2 or 3 more for the UK.

This. They will be playing more than 4 Fortress songs on the tour.

I think we blew them away last night because we all knew Cry of Achilles so well, I can remember Myles sounding surprised

Well, my surprise with the setlist is that they still kept Ties That Binds, Before Tomorrow Comes, and Rise Today while Find the Real, Metalingus, and Watch Over You got the shaft, which is really surprising.

Other than that, setlist seems fine. Good to hear that Open Your Eyes is the closer again and Slip is the intro to the encore.

The setlist was 90% perfect. I would've liked to have seen BTC removed and either Metalingus or Waters Rising put in.

Europe shows are gonna be SICK!

They'll have 2-3 more songs on the setlist too...in total. So that'll help.

and in the end, i hope they will swap setlists artound a bit from show to show, like myles does with slash.. they have plenty of songs to do so.. and would make for some nice and needed variation between concerts!

That would be great, especially as there are a few songs here and there that are pretty interchangeable without losing the diversity of the entire setlist. And it would really encourage people who might consider going to more than one show if there is the real chance of getting to hear something new.
