DC3 (Dan) filming the Orlando/European Tour

Tbh, I'm not looking forward to another regular DVD (except if they change their setlist a lot), but this would be a cool way to get all the new songs on tape.

Not particularly interested in another DVD unless they do something incredibly unique with it - a back-to-front album show, a rarities and old favorites show, something like that. Because the truth is I rarely watch live concerts more than once. I'll listen to them a few times if they include a CD, but it's rare. And given how oversaturated their DVD offerings are, I'd likely pass on it.

The truth is, Alter Bridge isn't one of those bands who benefits from being captured live for me; they don't really alter the arrangements or add too much to the songs as originally written, so there's no real reason for me to listen to anything other than the studio tracks.

I don't know anything about what the plans are but I'm sure a documentary will be included along with input from Halestorm and or Shinedown(Pure speculation).

Plus if you guys have researched the venues that AB will be playing at some of them are really impressive.

I don't think it will be like Amsterdam or Wembley (AB will be visiting both of these places to)

Get the best performances and widest variety of songs. I'm a bit of a fan of music documentaries as well.

The Pearl Jam idea would be cool if they gave us a collection of the best performances of the songs in one shot, similar to how Chris Cornell compiled Songbook. I tend to prefer having live CDs all from one show but a collection of the best performances from many shows could be really cool.

It really depends how they structure their setlist as to whether the DVD will be worth buying. If they have a rarity slot each night, and then try to get through all of the album on the tour, it would be really include if the DVD had all the Fortress songs, along with any rarities they may play. I don't think we need a whole individual show, as said above, Pearl Jam are good with their DVDs.

Pearl Jam are incredible to their fans period. I wish all of my bands were as good to their fans as PJ are.

Wonder if they're gonna just record a bunch of stuff so they can include a lot of Fortress material with the box set. I find it hard to believe they'd still try to release a box set then have a Fortress DVD.

I'm guessing the videoing will be for the Fortress "beginnings of" DVD they'll put out with/in the boxset. The whole of recording was video'd, so I'm making a wild guess in saying we'll one day see alot of footage, including live stuff to see how it was received
