New Way To Live just because I still can't wrap my head around Break Me Down keeping it off the main disc.

Save Me, just love it. NWTL is a close second though.
Re: Favorite Alter Bridge B-Side?
Damage Done all the way. I really think that riff during the verse is one of the best Tremonti ever wrote. Well... I guess I can't say that because I am not sure Mark wrote it and not Myles. But it's great. I like the chorus and double solo's too. How did that song not make the CD?

TDD.. have been advocating that since i first heard it!

New Way To Live first, there's not much to explain other than it's a really good song, different from the average AB, I wish they would write more stuff like this. Never Born To Follow is a close a second, again it's different from what AB usually do, and it kind of reminds me of Bon Jovi. I've never understood the love for The Damage Done, I think it's quite a boring song, but then again I don't really care for guitar solos, I guess the dual guitar solo gives it alot of attention?

They need to write more non-conventional songs like this one.

Really tough choice between New Way To Live and Damage Done, but I choose NWTL just because it's got such a unique, moody vibe. Great solo as well... though I'd kill to see the Damage Done guitar duel live.

New Way To Live, by a mile.
Lyrics are really hard for me to take because of personal reasons and the song itself is great musically. Dark, with a glimpse of hope.
'Zero' comes second.

FYI I'm a woman.

The addition of 'On My Way Now' is impossible to ignore. If that weren't an option I would have went NWTL.

Never Born to Follow. It just flat out rocks, it's a little different than their newer stuff and it still has that soul that the stuff on ODR had.

New Way to Live. Just an all around great song. Nice solo by Tremonti. Never Born to Follow would be a close second.

Re: Favorite Alter Bridge B-Side?
I had to vote On My Way Now, that may be my favorite song they've ever done, studio or not. But Damage Done would be a very very close second. And I fully agree, I've said ever since I heard it that the verse riff was one of their best ever. There's something so awesome about the instruments holding while Myles comes in with "I won't waste away, I won't let this bring me..." and everything exploding on "DOWN!"Vaux wrote:Damage Done all the way. I know New Way To Live gets a lot of love, and I do dig the song, but it's the one and only AB song I've heard that ever actually made me think of Creed. Especially the opening, sounds like something that would have come from Human Clay. Love the song, but that part distracts me and takes me out of the "Alter Bridge" experience.
Re: Favorite Alter Bridge B-Side?
New Way To Live, closely followed by Zero. It's not one of my absolute favourite Alter Bridge tunes or anything but it is a great song. New Way To Live, The Damage Done, Zero and Home are all excellent songs in my opinion, it just happens that New Way To Live tops them.
I was very pleased and surprised that I got to see New Way To Live played live. I would be disappointed that I've never seen Zero live (or that they've never played it live at all), but I can hardly expect that when there are multiple solid songs from the main album that have never even been played live.

New Way To Live.
A good step above the rest. Actually sounds more like it belongs on One Day Remains to me. Definitely in my top 5 AB songs.
