Why play fewer songs (and only 4 TLH ones) at one of your biggest shows ever ?

Awesome gig last night at the O2! Myles sounded great and actually sang the songs properly, minimising the annoying "talking/shouting" trait he recently adopted for some lines. Mark also sang the best version of Waters Rising I've heard, so passionate and raw! The track has benefited hugely from his vocal improvements over the last few years. Other highlights were; The Other Side (beast!), Watch Over You (Myles pitch-perfect), Show Me a Leader (sounds great live) and of course Blackbird.

Haven't looked through the pages but Mark gave away a guitar or two! Does he normally do that?!

Can see one here at the beginning of Blackbird, and pretty sure he did it after Rise Today



Really good gig though. There were signs they were filming so here's hoping another Blu-Ray is in the works... (I saw them at Wembley but the year they didn't record it)

I understand why he does it though, would put less stress on his voice so he can prolong it for the tour

Great sound overall though, which was a relief as people at other gigs had said the sound was poor

Yeah, no idea. I mean, they even dropped The Last Hero for Farther Than The Sun, that's one of the worst trades you can get in a setlist.

"My son and his girlfriend went to the meet and greet then were the first in to the arena and were right at the front . Mark must have remembered him from earlier and remembered that my son told him he was a guitarist . So he gives my son the guitar then pulls them both up on stage for the last few songs to watch from the side . They met his wife and kids and had fotos with Mark and Myles as everyone was leaving . How good is that ? "

Yeah, no idea. I mean, they even dropped The Last Hero for Farther Than The Sun, that's one of the worst trades you can get in a setlist.

I think it's because it's a really big tour with 3 opening bands. Still didn't see a long show in an arena when there are so many supports
