8 on the AB scale for me. The radio edit was about a 4 or 5, but the intro makes it a great AB song.

7 tops for me. I like it, but after the new rubs off, it'll be a middle of the pack AB song for me. Just a gut feeling.

Poop. I accidentally clicked 10. I wanted to choose 8. I really like this song. Initially I was like.. mehhhhh. Myles sounds a little Slashy for my liking but that into solo is just too good to ignore. The more I listen the move I've grown to appreciate it.

Yeah? Why is that I wonder. I think his Slash style is easier for him to reproduce, it's just a touch thin compared to his AB vocals in the past.

It's amazing what a good intro can do for a song. I thought the radio edit was gash, there was just no occasion to it but the full version is like a completely different song. I give the full version 7.5, maybe 8 on a good day. It's got good pace and the guitars are awesome. The pauses don't ruin the flow imo and add an element of individuality. Another .5 if the vocals were a bit richer, but in fairness the sound on the track is probably pretty close to how the live version will sound so it's realistic I suppose.

Really looking forward to this album. I'm expecting good variety. Fortress had a number of A* tracks but there were a few that I could take or leave which is rare for me cos I'm a fanboi.

Well, Myles will probably never sound as powerful and low as on AB III and the older records. Sadly.

He sounded just as good as he ever did on all of Fortress. I don't see why he would suddenly sound bad on this record.
