Do the VIP tickets and guitar/bass lessons mean the band isn't meeting fans after shows for free signing anymore?

I saw some pics on Facebook of some guys meeting Mark outside after the Atlanta show. I think they still come out, but maybe for not as much time. The VIP is mainly a way to solidify meeting them, plus you get autographs and other goodies with all that.

I was able to hang out with the band and their families after the show. They were in that room playing ping pong and whatnot until 1am where Mark had to put his son down to bed (he crashed on the couch). When he came outside at 1:15am or so, there were 50-60 people still waiting outside by the tour bus. Not sure if the band actually greeted them or not because the schedule of events said they had to hit the road for Baltimore.

He didn't say. It was a "we're most likely doing this" conversation. I'd assume they get announced later this summer though.

WOOT! Finally...after 5 LONG YEARS of waiting, I am finally going to see Alter Bridge live! Just bought two one day tickets to Rock on the Range. Its so perfect, right after I get done with school, that weekend I get to finally see my favorite band live. Four more weeks! Sorry guys, I know most of you don't care, I'm just so excited to finally be able to see them!

Yep, they are at a festival called Welcome to Rockville in Jacksonville, Florida, I believe. The stage times are in that picture I posted above you.
