The leather pants are back, I thought he might have switched back to jeans for good.

I was there last night with my best friend :rockon. I was super excited cuz it was my first Creed show. I've been a fan since I was ten years old. I'm 22 now and it was the biggest thing for me to see this show. Stapp killed that show :peace. I have no voice now cuz I was singin every song! I can't sing but at that show i felt like the best fuckin singer in the world. No new stuff but it was great hearin some old classics. Can't wait for the new album. ROCK ON CREED!!!

I won't say he sounds better or even "quite" as good as he did in his heyday, but man, this is as good a voice as Stapp's had in the past 10 years. A voice like that convinces me Creed's 5th album could sound as good as the first 3. Good for him.

Looks like he was messing with that ear-piece a lot in those videos.

I'm not as impressed as you are.
I've listened to a few of those videos, and he seems to be struggling here and there.
IMHO, his voice was much much stronger in April (the Boston show blew me away), but it's still better than 2009 and 2010.

Wow, I never thought Creed worked so well in small venues.. Those are the best video's I've seen in a while.. Scott sounds amazing! I've got a lot of respect from him.. + his hair looks awesome! :D
I wish they'd come to Europe now.. I'd pay a lot of money to see this Creed play in the same places Alter Bridge play when they're here..

his monitor went completely out at one point... he kept shaking his head and messing with it.... erock was singing backup... and at one point... singing all alone.... but they got it fixed..

Timotheus... thanks... for at least making it seem like I'm not totally insane.... EVERYBODY messes up a bit here and there.... it was so loud... so small...

they never did get mark a spotlight going.... but I loved it when the 3 guys were on erocks side playing together... marks sounds good...

Stapp is kicking ass.. He sounds damn good... Maybe not as good as 97-2000, but nearly as good.. The only difference in my opinion is the lower tuning.. If Stapp could practice singing again on the original scales of the songs, I am sure he will sound as good as he used to.. again, singing on a higher scale is not necessarily more challenging than on lower scales.. Infact, its easier to sing on really high pitches and on really low, its the middle pitch that is the most challenging... Also, the tempos seem better than they have been in a while.. I believe using original tunings and tempos would do the band more good...

With great fear and trepidation I clicked on the video for Faceless Man. I am so glad that I did.

It's been years since I've been able to listen to Stapp. I'm happy that it seems like he's gotten his act together. I may not care for the man himself, but I'm glad that the voice, for the better part, is restored.... as is my interest to see what's next to come.

there is Higher video from the same show and Stapp sings something during the intro of the song.. That shows Stapp has a better placement on the scale he was singing at which was a higher scale.. The band should really try reverting to their higher tunings, cuz am sure Stapp can sing better on the original scales.

that's what I was trying to explain.. how he did the little improvisations at the beginning and end of some songs...

as for all the talk about lower tunings.... which songs? I just got out the cd and tried to compare.. .....

I know it DOES happen... simply AGE lowers the voice.... Rob Thomas can't sing Push the same way he did 1996...
