That quote at the end is funny to hear in retrospect:
It doesn't look like Creed and their million + sales would be going anywhere, any time soon.
She had no idea of what was gonna happen to the band, and no one could have predicted this was the beginnng of the end.
Wow that's some new trivia for me. Thank god they stopped the truck in time lol

So much raw talent in these early days.
I wonder how Mark would feel if he ever listened or watched old videos from that era, when they were still friends. He's gotta realize it was not so bad, hasn't he?

its crazy what letting things impact you and self doubt can do. Had they never given a damn about critics and other jealous artists trying to tear 'em apart., things would have been totally different.

From arguably one of the most technically proficient guitarist of our time and Mark's mentor:

https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/news/in ... ridge.html

Michael Angelo Batio :
But one of the things that's interesting about Mark is that his work ethic is pretty amazing. And I was a huge Creed fan before Alter Bridge, and my favorite album from Alter Bridge really is their first one [2004's 'One Day Remains'] because it's more melodic.

.....

And Mark, with Creed, wrote so many great No. 1 hit songs - I think he has an award for the most No. 1 categories in Billboard hits - something like that. One of the Creed songs, I think it's one that goes *sings 'With Arms Wide Open'* it was on so many Billboard charts that he's got awards all over his house.

The thing that I loved about Mark is the same thing he thinks about me - you're a student; always learn new things. That's what I loved about him. And actually, I'm a bigger fan of Creed than Alter Bridge, musically. 'Cause I just love their songs more.

"But I think that Alter Bridge is much more - Myles [Kennedy] is an amazing singer, don't get me wrong, he's fantastic - but I just loved the Creed sound with Scott Stapp. There's something about it that's magical to me.

Mark was once set to prove himself to his peers, he didn't have to, I hope he reads this.

Mark won't like that!
For 15 years, every critic has told him Alter bridge was the better band!

Never heard this one either. Stapp was "under the weather", still sounds epic. Flip's drumming was so dynamic back then.

Well, I noticed their FB page changed the profile picture. If that's the only reason for writing an entire news article about a possible reunion... I don't know, seems kinda clickbaity to me.

Yeah, a lot of already nonexistent bands sometimes change their profile pictures on FB (Pink Floyd anyone?) but it doesn't mean they're coming back. They are mostly managed by hired guys. Maybe the one that is in charge of Creed's page got drunk and thought like: 'Let's stir shit up by changing the picture?'

Judging from what I've heard from tremonti in interviews it doesn't sound like he's interested in creed. If there happens to be more behavior like this and it becomes a pattern, then I might change my tune, but I'm not convinced. I think things are cool enough between flip, stapp and brian, but it's all on tremonti when it comes to if creed happens.

I was listening to Devil Inside You on youtube. You know, the soundcheck secret recording on youtube lol. That song kicks ass and I wish it had been recorded. It seemed 85% done and I loved it. It sounded like the natural evolution of creed, not like Full Circle. I really hope they record and release some of this material. And also release the rest of their catalog which, for some reason, they didn't do with the retrospective. Because I'm pretty sure that Grip my soul is a recorded song.

Wasn’t sure where to post this (and I chuckle that MySpace is still in the title, haha)

Did anyone see this acoustic gem on Instagram?

It made me think that a documentary would be amazing on Creed (despite there being a lot on Netflix l, etc lately). Even just modernising some of the Ron Ranew doco and scattering in small performance clips like the above would be really cool for Creed fans. Creed does have a unique story that should be told I reckon. Or maybe we just get a collection of old performances released (I often listen back to rare live performances on YouTube).
Just a thought

Yeah they could do it I think - They have the material and the story. I just don't want it to dig up and sore feelings. I would like them to just focus on the future musical endeavors and not the past failures.
