What are they saying during the bridge of "Ode"?

that is the beginning part of it i think. I don't think they ever released what the entire thing was.

Back on their Creed website (This was years ago) I remember them being asked what was being said in a FAQ and Stapp replied:

That's one of the things we will take with us to our grave. Sorry, it's a band thing.

I wonder with all the technology available to us now if we can separate the sound files to dig it out

If someone has audacity they could probably play around with the EQ to try lowering the bass and treble to pull the mids up to the front. It won't be possible to completely separate everything without access to the original recordings, but EQ'ing it would probably be the best approach.

Years ago on some Creed fan site dedicated to the vary Creed mysteries someone said it was about a friend of the band"s accident. Obviously I don't know how accurate that is but it is one explanation I've heard.

I've played around with it in Audacity several times & never could make out much. The opening line is the only real clear thing I can make out.
