I understand Scott frustration even though I don't agree with him taking it on Mark. Like Scott had mention he shelved his entire second solo album and tour for the Creed reunion and completely focus on Creed. So likewise he expect the same from Mark. The problem is that is not how Mark think. Alterbridge is his main concern and he has several other projects too.

For those of us still dreaming of listening to the Creed Vault well they are all in Tremonti solo works. Now we know (at least I know).

I somewhat see that but at the same token he has had years to put that album out. Truth is he knew Creed would make more money than his solo so he went with it, he should've did with Mark did and still worked on the solo album.

I agree with number1.

I don't blame Mark but Creed did get the short end of the stick in 2012.

If I remember correctly, Creed was meant to prepare their album and tour it in 2012. However, in January-February Mark worked on Tremonti. Late March Creed got together to work on the album. Then the tour started early April until August. Then Tremonti finalised his album and toured. In September to October Creed toured South America.

My understanding was for Creed to prepare, record and promote their album following the South American tour. Then Mark said that Alter Bridge would record their album early January.

Seeing as though Alter Bridge toured all of 2011 and Tremonti took parts of 2012. I was expecting Creed to run over into early 2013.

I wish each could sit together and talk it out instead of just giving each other the silent treatment during the tour.

Someone uploaded on Youtube a video from Mark speaking freely about Stapp with some fans

Mark clearly had no idea he was being filmed, and the sound is poor at times, but it gives you an idea of what he really thinks about Stapp. He calls him a prima donna, talks about him trying to turn members against each other, being cold-hearted with young fans and not wanting Creed members to sign autographs because that made him look bad. He also says Stapp's not selling any tickets on his European solo tour.

I think I hear him say :
We had to be friends in concert

As obvious as it is, that's the saddest thing about that band.

I guess it was recorded in 2014.

The description of the video:

A talk after the show at Wolverhampton Civic Early 2000's. A little insight to the relationship between Scott and the rest of Creed.

I guess you're right. I was misled by the mention of Stapp's European solo tour.

As much as I find that information interesting I can't help but think that if Mark ever became aware that video was on the Internet he wouldn't be very happy. In my opinion it doesn't matter when it was recorded, doing something like this when Mark clearly had no idea that he was being filmed is completely and totally wrong in my opinion. Mark chose to be open and honest which is one of the things that I as well as many others love and respect about him but on the other side of the coin you have someone that decided they were going to record him without his knowledge.

How do we expect people that we look up to to continue to be so open and honest as well as accessible with us when you have things like this going on? If he ever got wind that this was online, if I were him it would make me want to pull away and not be so honest with people in the future.

That's the society we're living in nowadays. People are recording stuff without our consent all the time.
The weird thing about it all is that this video was not published for 8 or 10 years (I don't know if that chat happened after their 2004/2006/2008 concert).

Yep, If I was the uploader, I would take the video down. Mark didn't say anything heavy in it, but it's very disrespectful to film him, judging on how nice and honest he always is.

To be honest. I like Mark even more after that video. I don't even know why.

Edit: NVM!!!!

I didn't see that other video that chtimixeur posted in this page. I'm not going to watch it then. Early 2000s ehhh? Why release it now?

He mentions Stapp touring with INXS...when was that? It was years ago I know, but don't recall the exact year.

Pretty damn fucked up for that fan to record him like that and post it, regardless of who is speaking. Could be a completely different band and it's still fucked up.
Photobucket cash grab.

Whoever secretly recorded that is a douche. The video is from 2006 when Stapp toured with INXS... I have no idea why they would post it now.

Here's the gist of it...

1. Mark says Stapp toured in a separate bus
2. Says Stapp would talk behind everyone's back & would try to manipulate the band against each other.
3. The band would sign autographs after shows & Stapp wanted them to stop because it made him look bad because he never did it.
4. Mark mentions a story of Stapp shunning away a fan asking for his autograph at dinner with some snide remark. (can't remember what exactly Mark said)
5. Mark said that Stapp's tour wasn't selling. (this was the tour I was referring to w/INXS 2006)
6. Mark mentions Wind Up releasing the Creed Greatest Hits album & them not wanting it released because of it taking away from Alter Bridge.

Those are most of the highlights. Stuff we've always heard or knew before.

Something tells me this is about Stapp :
Just make sure you are dealing with people that you agree with their morals and the type of person they are because if even they are the best musician, there are other great musicians out there. The core personalities have to really mesh and if you have one bad seed in there, it can ruin the band. You don't want it to happen three years later when you have some success. You want to nip it in the butt right off the bat.
