Finally the Truth about Creed's Second Breakup

New guy here !!! First Post wanted to say hello and add my opinion on this discussion. First let me say I love Creed and Alter Bridge. They are both unique in their own ways. I love Tremonti's ability to write great tunes and create some really unique Riffs and Solos. He is definitely at his finest right now, and Alter Bridge is having way more success with this album and it's because the four of these guys want to make great rock music. I think that JRipper 420 is simply vetting some anger and disappointment over what has happened to Creed going from the best band on the planet to side project, because lets face it that's what it has become to Mark. I think we can all see that 6 years after the reunion we have yet to see any real material from Creed and I am starting to doubt we ever will again. I agree that its a sad state of affairs when you have tons of potential and it all comes crashing down. Whether it be Stapp or Tremonti, I think they both are to blame and it seems Flip and Brian are caught in the middle of a power struggle between two egos, the immovable object vs. irresistible force. I understand we are in a Alter Bridge forum but just as there are supportive fans of Tremonti there are some fans who are disappointed with how he's handled Creed from the reunion on. I'm a bit disappointed, but I still love Tremonti's guitar playing and Alter bridge, so I will support all the guys. Jripper needs to chill, smoke a dube and listen to Fortress a couple of times. defintely works for me

Its not that we always want these discussions to be closed. But how can anyone value anything stapp says at this point. He's a freakin unprofessional bum. Anyone, not just Alter Bridge fans can see that. For example, you hardly ever hear about athletes bashing and blaming everyone but themselves on a former team. You wanna know why? Because somethings are meant to be private. Stapp keeps crying wolf over and over and its beyond the point where its worth listening. He's a loser who just wants a little bit of attention. You tell mark about htis interview and you know what he says? Probably "no comment" and a laugh at how pathetic it is. Its always the same 3 or 4 posters blowing Stapp and they are too ignorant to step back and look at what is really happening. He is very unprofessional and his career is spiralling downhill, so he's trying to gain some attention. The fact is, it probably was partly Mark's fault, but he just keeps bringing it up. He's a disgrace to people with a higher status anywhere.

If anyone is ever trying to show someone how to NOT act in front of media, just show one stapp interview and you should be good.

I dunno.. Georges St Pierre (the face of UFC and really MMA as a whole) is speaking up against the UFC for the sketchiness and wrong doing they do.. hes getting pretty good praise for it.
Had Stapp not spoken up, we'd still be 2 years later not having a single fucking clue. I dont get the Stapp hate for this. Professional? Maybe not. Maybe something we as fans need to know? Sure.
I think the underlying issue is that alot of us are Tremonti fans and cant take him being represented as anything but perfect.

Kurzweg would've produced a better album than Elvis in terms of a "Creed sounding" record. Full Circle (produced by Elvis) sounded like an Alter Bridge b side sesh with Scott singing. Stapp is the frontman for Creed, he 's electric. Why was the catwalk a problem? I can say I enjoyed the 09 show with the catwalk a whole lot more than the 2010 show without it. Why does it all have to be Marks way?

But why would that be the case? He hasn't been that way in a long long time. And they have already been touring together and such and stapp wasn't like that then. So that really makes no sense.

Honestly, we dont know if he has or hasn't been that way. we dont know what goes on behind the scenes at all. im guessing there's more to this than what we're getting from Stapp.

I heard from a source that Mark made plenty more demands ... like Stapp cannot look at him, must call him sir, no more humping him while playing guitar, must feed him grapes twice a day at noon and oh-dark thirty. Outrageous, I know.
