" Good deal. Well, going back to Creed a little. In your book, you seemed like you were interested in doing another album with the guys. There have been tons of rumors all over the internet, but not much else. Do you think that's something that still may be on the table after you finish up touring for Proof of Life?
Scott: Under the current circumstances… No, it's not going to work. Let me tell you why. Right now, Mark has basically said to me, "If you don't use the producer that I want to use - I'm not making a record with you. If you don't perform on stage the way I want you to perform - I don't want to do anything with you. If you don't use Alter Bridge's manager and business manager - I don't want to work with you. And if you don't change the way we've structured the royalties and the finances on the songs that you and I wrote, Scott - I'm not going to work with you." And basically he said, "If you just don't do everything 100% my way," then he doesn't want to do it. I can't do that, man. You know? I want to be an artist. I want things to be as they've always been which is: Mark and I write the songs and I get to express creative thoughts and that we make mutual decisions. I can't be in a situation that's turned into a dictatorship where I'm told that if you don't do everything my way then get away from me. That's basically what's been told to me. [JFH (Michael): Wow…] Even to the point of, "I don't want you walking on certain areas of the stage. I don't want you to have a cat walk because I don't want you out in front of me." Just all of these limitations and all of these rules and all of these, "If you don't do this, then I'm outta here," demands have been put on me. I've tried my best, brother, to be a Christian and do what I feel the Lord is wanting me to do and I just felt in my heart that it became an unhealthy situation. I love those guys and I pray from them every day and wish them the best, but until Creed gets back to a mutual respect between Mark and I -- and not Mark telling me all these things I can and can't do or he's going to walk -- it's not going to happen.

Isn't it disgusting when you throw your support behind someone thinking they were a stand up guy and you hear a story like this. What happened to Mark Tremonti. It seems like him and Stapp have switched places this time around

The thing is that three sides to the story. There is one side of the story from one person's perspective. There's another side of the story from the other person's perspective. Finally, there's the truth. I don't know why I stated that, but that is that.

This has already been discussed. Sure, I'm sure some of it is true. But if you believe everything stapp says I think that's absolutely moronic. He's a freakin diva and loves the spotlight that comes when drama goes public.

One thing that you'll find in common in every stapp interview is that it was never his fault. It was always someone else. 99% of people think it was his fault except the creed fans who worship his every step

Yes. All of this has already been discussed and we don't need another fuss/quarrel regarding that particular Stapp interview...
Needless to say, this thread doesn't need to exist, nor does the other one ''Another Tremonti Album??? Really ???'' - The guy is clearly bashing Mark and we don't need all that jazz.

Actually I'm a huge Mark fan and stuck with him through the break up and Alter Bridge. Is it a problem that I really don't care for the fact that us "Creed fans" are getting the shaft over a bunch of childish crap that could easily be worked out. Also, I bought tremonti's last album and honestly his playing was the only bright spot on that album. Face it the guy cannot sing. Hes a guitar player. Play the damn guitar and leave the siging to the guy with some chops. Also last time I checked it was a free country and if you can suck tremonti's jock than I can just as easily speak up about something that aggravates me as a fan. Maybe they should create a thread just for you and your obvious disregard for other people's opinions. Kinda wishing you were "Uninvited" from this discussion...Peace....

Ahh, so you think an interview with Scott Stapp says all we need to know about a relationship between two parties. Well isn't that neat and dandy? There are two sides to every story. For a "huge Mark fan" you're awfully quick to put the boot in

It's amazing how anytime mark is put put into a bad light certain users jump out and scream "lock" or "ban". But whenever it's stapps fault those same users join in the fun.

It's the way it happens. He could've easily posted this in the Stapp thread or could've chosen to make the title(s) and original post(s) a bit less biased and less whiney. That and the bad arguments make it very hard to take this seriously.

Stop talking nonsense. The only reason anyone has said that this topic should be locked/deleted is because the interview is from the 29th of December and has been discussed in detail. But obviously the numpty who posted it was so eager to slate Tremonti that he didn't want to take the time or the effort to check if it had been discussed already.

I had never seen the interview before, so what does it matter if it's from the 29th? It's still relatively recent. I hadn't discussed it yet.

Sick of this guy posting stuff we've known about for ages. Just join the duscussion, no need for useless reposts.
