Oh, Axl and Weiland are definitely legends, no comment there. I have great respect for both. I was talking about them being diva frontmen.

Best Stapp song wtihout Creed. I really like it.

He's one of the best in writing catchy choruses.

So he now lives in Nashville, and writes for other artists.
I wonder if he'll actually change the setlist on his forecoming solo tour.

I think I'm going to like this new Aoa. I've liked both of these songs Stapp seems in great physical health and his voice was much better than usual. Would love to see more videos of that show

They played Somber.

Did Stapp turn that solo song into an AoA one ?

Somehow these guys aren't really tight on stage.

I'm not saying they'll ever be great, but give them some time to gel as a band.
It was just their first show.

Scott and the guys probably had an argument pre-show about playing some Creed material

Stapp is sounding good. Finally sounds and looks like the scott I remember, I hope he doesn't fuck it up again and most importantly doesn't destroy his voice out of excitement.
Am liking "Won't let you down ", dancing with the devil, somber(although I think they sorta butchered the song) and no surrender.
Over thinking, over analyzing, separates my body from my mind..

Man this sounds really great. I'm really digging these new songs. They kind of have a classic rock feel to them - a little. But they also have stapps signature radio friendly prowess to them so the melodies are very catchy. Reminds me of creed in that way. I think this record has some massive rock radio potential. I was cautiously optimistic about the record at first news but now I'm pretty excited. I don't know why they played Somber though. Guess they needed a filler.

I'm willing to let that slide since it was their first live show playing this new songs and first show with a new singer. It didn't sound bad imo.

We will see, for me it sounded like Scott missed a lot of notes tho.

Ofc they probably will get better, still, I just rated what i heard.

Well, this is actually the best Stapp has sound in a long time. Don't expect him to get better.

To my ears, he's singing off key just as much as he usually does, and he's had way stronger performances here and there since 2012.
I'm not willing to listen to those songs more than once though, or else the new album will feel boring when I first hear it in March.

A couple of videos from the Huntington show.

My Sacrifice

At 4:35, he's doing the Mannequin Challenge, and it shows you how full/empty the 1,500 people capacity room is.

What's This Life or (acoustic)

Up close in a small place

He seems to genuinely enjoy himself.

His guitar player doing some Creed covers at home :

Sorry for the double post, but I found another video where he shows his bus :

It looks like a different bus from the 2014 one :

Aside from the fact he's (jokingly ?) looking for a new TV show, the most interesting thing from this new video is that he's writing music with Yiannis Papadopoulos for his next solo album.
