He did an interview with I heart Radio yesterday and said he is in studio but couldn't say anything about the new band. :\

Good to know he's been recording for one month and a half.
Also, he won't start working on his solos album until the end of the year.

Let's just hope he won't play anything Creed related with his new supergroup. That would be the biggest mistake he could make.

We'll probably get an announcement by at the most late april - since that's when his solo tour starts. This gives him a whole month to finish recording.

How is he allowed to do that with his other group? Did the AB guys just wave their rights and/or is he paying money to Wind Up?

I think you can play whatever you want live.
It's not like he's re-recorded them and released it all as a new studio album.

Some people saying he is the new singer of Art of Anarchy. They (the band) posted a photo on their Facebook saying "Coming Soon" and put an efect to do not show the band.

This seems legit. I'm listening to some of their songs now

I did the same and didn't like too much. Too much repetitive in my opinion. But I've heard only 2 songs, it's not enough though.

Not the kind of supergroup I was hoping for.
Scott Weiland dissociated himself from that project pretty quickly.
It was a scam from the beginning.

Interesting how i never heard of that band even though it has (had) some pretty known members.
Their style seems not bad. We'll see how it will work out.

Yeah but if you read the entire interview with him you can realize he's kind of full of shit.

"Durr it's a scam" "Not my band"

And yet he got paid for it and even shot a music video with the guys. His reasoning isn't logical. Now that he's passed people are trying to remember him in a good light but try not to forget he had his problems as well.

I just finished the record. I would say it was decent. the music was better than the vocal and lyrics imo

Thanks Vaux. It's nice to hear he's made a complete 180 in his life. Also says he's in the middle of a new studio record, we already knew that though. He doesn't say "solo" record though, which is key.

Apparently in a recent interview he says the announcement will come in June. We'll see if that actually happens or not.
Scott said that he’s been “working on a new album with a new group of guys. Guys from some pretty well-known rock bands that you guys will know.” He went on to say, “I can’t really share the details about it, but there’s a lot of good things going on that I can’t tell you til later in June when we’ll be making the announcement. This other band I’m jamming with is it’s own band with it’s own band name.”

Sorry but I just can't see Scott performing the classic STP hits like Interstate Love Song or Wicked Garden. Chester was a better fit in my opinion. I'll genuinely by surprised if he sounds good

It's definitely not STP. From the offical STP Facebook page:
Despite recent comments, Scott Stapp is not, nor has he ever been considered as the singer for STP.
