Seems like the tour has been a success. Lots of sell out shows. The people that were at the Detroit show were a lot of younger people, not just people that liked Creed when they were younger, but those peoples kids too. Creed is back big time it feels like.

The video is probably a promo for the netflix concert.
Is there a release date yet?

New acoustic show
They sound INSANE. Legit, if they won't put out new material this year I'd totally be up for an acoustic record. September can't come here fast enough, I am so ready

Interesting that it was on Sirius XM Turbo. That's the 90s and 00s rock station as oppose to Octane which is current rock. I haven't listened to Octane since post-pandemic since I would rather spend the monthly fee on Spotify premium, but how are the DJs in Octane talking about the reunion and tour. Good comments?

They sound fantastic on that acoustic show.
Now, what they need to do, is play an acoustic version of Don't Stop Dancing at the beginning of the encore, when they feel the crowd is ready to sing along.
It was amazing when Stapp did it in South America, and the rest of the guys need to experience that as well.

So the band played in Tinley Park tonight. I was not able to go because I was filling in for a local band on drums. From what I hear, they had to cut two songs due to inclement weather, and 3 Doors Down only got to play four songs, with Finger Eleven not performing at all.

This brings the question: What is up with the weather lately? I have been following two amphitheater tours this summer (Halestorm/I Prevail and Creed), and many of the shows had to be shortened, delayed, or cancelled because of weather. This was not an issue with the amphitheater tours that I followed last summer or the summer before.

New interview with Mark. It's a great one.
Completely random thought, but how does a guy like Mark Tremonti still have an iPhone 8? Lol

That device is now 6+ years old I think. Maybe the name of his phone has just carried over for years.

Wow. You know when Mark said he was willing to abandon that 2012 record because he felt like they could do better, I was a little apprehensive. But after seeing the way he's discussed future music I'm very hopeful. I actually sincerely believe they can make the best album of their career this decade. Hope talking to Kurzweg about Grip Your Soul, inspires them to let him produce one more time.

About a week to go before the festival. I just hate the fact the SoCal show is booked in this friken place called Glen Helen Amphitheater. If they could have just done a 3 band bill at a place like Hollywood Bowl or the soccer field near USC, I'll be sitting here going through the catalog and getting excited about the show. But nope, it just has to be a festival at the Amphitheater in San Bernardino. Got to get there early to get a parking spot, go through many bands and many hours before Creed comes on, and then wait hours until the parking lot clears for me to get out and then I got to drive an hour home. Doesn't look like there are any safe off-site parking lots options as well.

I just don't think it's personally worth it for me to go, even as a curio. I'm sure if you remove the parking issues, it's going to be a fun time, but these logistics factors are really going to be what sucks the fun out of the whole experience to me.

I hope they do in the Summer of next year, before AB season comes around, in a more accessible venue like Hollywood Bowl or BMO Stadium in LA. I've seen most of the bands in the AB camp except for Creed and I might as well try to get that in there while I can on conditions that are favorable for me.

They played to 30.000 people in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
Just look at that crowd at 1mn35:

How cool is that?!! :peace

If they don't know the lyrics, don't try and make them recite them.
Here's Faceless Man's latest version:

It's cool that they found a way to make it work better. Using the screen was indeed very smart.
Still, the bgeinning of the bridge was still off, I don't know why Stapp didn't start singing right away. I'm sure they'll finally figure it out soon enough.

The band still sounds incredible overall, kudos to them.
They must feel on top of the world. :headbang

the topic of new music really should be put to rest for right now. the earliest it's going to come (if it happens) is 2026. 2027 more likely. the demand will still be there. no need to rush it. and if things click, perhaps the guys move from a 3 year cycle to a 4 year cycle. that could provide a happy balance between more projects and more breathing room.
