Made it aboard the ship. They are not doing a soundcheck and they play at 4:30, as the sailing gets underway.

Met a few cool people already. One woman has a "bangers only" hat on that I thought was funny, and a very nice woman gave us a summer of 99 keychain. Also met a cool guy who gave me a green bracelet that says "hello my friend Creed cruise" on it and a cross that honors his father that passed.

Great crowd so far.

Have a great time! If you don't mind tell me how Tantric and Fuel go. I saw Tantric last year and I'm really curious to see how they sound in a grander setting as opposed to the clubs they've been doing lately

Vocals and guitar tone are spot on. The rhythm section sounds super tight on Never die (much better than 2010). Very nice!

I must say. They are sounded great on the clips I could find. Scott sounds a lot healthier than last time. The band seems on point too. The stars are aligning for this. Hopefully we can get some good 4K quality performances videos out of this tour.

Nice to see those genuine smiles on Mark's faith.
But if I'm being perfectly honest, Stapp sounds flat and off key on songs he used to perform well enough even at his 2009-2010 lowest points (i.e. My Sacrifice). It's weird because he seems to be in good shape. It's nice to see his old school moves, though.

I said almost the same thing on my YouTube comment. I will say that "My Sacrifice" looked like it was the last song (from the first show), so take that for what it's worth (Scott does go pretty flat on "forever" and "in an instant"). On the positive side, they all look great. And they aren't playing the songs at a breakneck pace which makes a huge difference. Give Scott a chance to catch his breath and give me some groooooove man! Hopefully they can all really get into the flow and be at peak in July when I see them.

And Never Die / Say I:
https://www.facebook.com/share/v/57bitr ... tid=w8EBqM

Scott sounded really good on the softer portions of Never Die and he had very strong control on Say I. He's not BELLOWING and trying to catch his breath. Bravo! That's what I want to hear more of from him. The RANGE. Give me some soft stuff, lower stuff, and that high range YEEEEEEAAAAAHHHH! The stuff that makes my hair stand on end.
