ear plugs. i would imagine because he is standing in one super loud spot for a long time. he said he doesnt wear them with alter bridge or creed because he can move around on the stage to less noisy spots.

For the longest time I could not believe the lyrics were "You unchained your grip..." I thought it was "changed" since that's what it sounds like on the album. Hearing this though I believe it.
