Brains epitomizes how I like my metal. Dark and brooding, but not without melody. I'm all for cool riffs, but they're worthless unless they're part of a greater purpose within a song. Brains is a perfect example of how it should be done.

I touched on this in the old forum, but the intro to Brains seriously reminds me of Slayer's Seasons In The Abyss, which is one of my all-time favorite songs. Knowing Mark's love of Slayer, I bet that had an influence on Brains.

Only sample I have heard so far is Brains, and it's as good as I hoped it would be. This and Rammstein will be my workout music.
