The 'Proof' longer solo can be heard on Youtube as well. This vid right here is the only vid with the longer solo on YT. They shouldn't have cut it, this solo is a beast, so much better than the album version!

Yeah the longer version just has some more shred notes thrown in it. The edit may not sound any better though, and I can see why Mark wanted to re-write that one. It's probably the most "out of place" solo on the album.
