Loving that bridge and outro to Proof more than anything, it sounds so cool.

I've listened to the songs a few more times. All I Was has grown on me, it's not that bad. Wish You Well will probably be one of my favourites on the album, it's just a shame it's so short. I really like Things I've Seen, I was a bit bored by the preview but it's much better in context to the whole song. Proof bored me, the bridge and outro was interesting, but everything else was disappointing.

I'm really anxious to hear Brains, it's definately the most interesting preview, I hope it lives up to it's potential. Does anyone know the setlist they played?

Edit - Just found it on setlist.fm, looks like all but one song was played.

Now, after hearing all those new songs, I would love to know why fans who were at the album listening party said this album was epic and WAY different from Alter Bridge and Creed's material. Did you guys overreact because Mark was in the room with you ?

My brief opinion about each song (or long snippet) :
- Brains : I really like this long intro and the Alice in Chains vocals
- Wish you well : a nice song, a nice riff, even though the chorus is a bit repetitive
- You Waste your Time : nice song, great riff, but it could have been so much more badass.
- All I Was : forgettable, even though the heavy riff kinda reminds me of the ODR era
- New Way Out : I liked the moody vibe of the snippet, but the song is also quite forgettable and way too radio friendly. I especially don't like the bridge
- The Things I've Seen : quite generic, but the intro reminded me of Burn it down, which can't be a bad thing
- Proof : boring from start to finish

So yeah, it's definitely not in the same league as AB and Creed for me. I'm especially disappointed by the solos. I thought Mark would go balls out and extend their length on this solo record, but nope, they're very close to the ones we hear on AB record.

I like Proof a lot. It's a bit repetive, but at least the songs breathes.. Too bad the solo is so short..
The outro is awesome :D but very ABish.. The song sounds like a mix of ODR and BB (the albums)

Such a badass song, mean opening riffs. Love how the song from laid back bridge explodes into the kickass solo!

I absolutely HATE that major key bridge like part after the chorus of Leave it Alone, it's SO out of place damnit, the song absolutely rips and then it just HAS to get a melodic part, fuck the formula for once, damnit, Giving Up was ok i guess

I loved that part :D

Oh and I think this might be the best chorus on the album I've heard so far (besides maybe The Things I've Seen). This was one of the previews I wasn't really a fan of, but the song turned out to be awesome, and we haven't even heard the studio version! Or at least, I haven't ;)

Giving Up is great too! Solid song!

Wow on that 30 second preview of LIA I totally thought it was the chorus we were hearing! Seems I was wrong

Cant get into Marks vocals at all, its to that level that I feel I have to turn it down a bit sometime.. dont know what it is really, most of the time he is in tune. its just that, for me, he just forces it a bit too much. His voice, as a lead singer, is just not my cup of tea 100%.

Other then that I thought they sounded surprisinly tight, and some of the songs they play are really hard to sound tight on.

The Things I've Seen is probably my favourite but I like quite a few.

They sound better than AB when I last saw 'em. Mark needs a bit of work as a live singer. He seems to try and hit the highs by forcing his voice but he's singing all the memories.

This is a first gig though so it's mighty impressive. Some of these songs are bloody good too. Nice to see Mark just running through an amp as well. Not quite as good sounding as his ODR setup but much clearer than the bigger AB gigs. Loving Garrett and Erock too. I hope this band continues for a few tours and more albums.
