Since Mark is/was tracking his vocals for A Dying Machine
right now, do you guys assume his vocals will have improved on this record in comparison to Dusterize
? It's been approx. 3 years since Dusterize
's recording sessions in 2015, and there was 3 years between that and All I Was
arguably showcasing an noticeable improvement in his vocals since AIW
, So I guess it would be safe to assume the trend will continue? I guess that would also depend on how often Mark has had to exercise his singing voice over the past 3 years as well. Whether that was done through exercises or touring...Would you guys be expecting maybe a bit more range to his voice? Maybe just more control? Or do you not expect anything different than like how he has been singing? It was hard to guess if his vocals were relatively even the same since Dusterize
on the The Last Hero
because he mostly just sang backing vocals.
I for one, am probably looking forward to hearing his vocals on the record more than his riffs or solos, honestly
Hopefully with some improvement in them to boot! Always nice to see Mark grow as a singer!
