Extremely excited for Bringer of war, that song’s description makes it sound heavy as fuck.

I had to go all the way back to page 24 to find the description :lol

Honestly even with descriptions like this I have no idea what the song is gonna sound like regardless :lol :/

The album itself kicks off fueled by the speed demon six-string death march of “Bringer of War.” A melodically massive hook underscores the apocalyptic landslide of down-picking and fiery fretwork.

“It’s about a warmonger with no pity who is just hell bent on destruction,” he elaborates.

With the "death march" description for some reason Im reminded of the beginning of Writing On The Wall :shrug

Take You With Me might be one of the most fun songs Mark has ever written. Can't wait to jam to this driving with the windows down in the summer.

That warmonger description fits Cauterize too doesn't it?

Fun video - I've got a couple gmail accounts, making sure to like it on all of them to get the song more visibility on YT's algorithm. With Napalm's 750k+ subscribers it's fun to hit refresh and watch the video's numbers boost.

It looks like they were trying to match some of the lighting from the concept art on the album which is neat. Wish they'd done just a liiiiiiittle bit more with it than flashing lights though (concept art had the android wading through water as well right?). It's addicting to watch Mark and Garret perform. Dudes just give it 110%.

The music video is kinda... dark.

My thoughts exactly. Not only was it actually dark to the point you could barely see the band, but the tone of the video didn’t necessarily fit the lyrical content and meaning of the song.

Yep. The bank vault video with its bright lighting would've fitted much better to the song. Too bad it got scrapped. :D

The more I think about it, the more absurd the video seems to me.

I think they're sticking to an aesthetic theme.

Compare what Dando posted to this

(them glowing ears!)

Videos are expensive at the end of the day, and Mark doesn't particularly like making them. It's not overly creative but does the job and maintains the theme.

Don't think people are that arsed about video's these days. I prefer to just throw headphones and listen, conjur up my own imagery.

In any case, loved Take you with me. Catchy chorus and a nice change from the doom and gloom.

Currently trending at #8 on youtube!

Don't know how that compares to other stuff at comparable times but seems pretty positive to me.

Aw, Mark doesn't like making them? I hadn't heard that before. That's unfortunate, I always felt music videos were an opportunity to do something a little abstract and creative. Even a simple concept (even if the execution is expensive/difficult) can turn out really neat like the Foo Fighter's Pretender video. I can understand not getting to that level of production but I like the idea of storyboarding. This one looks really good though.

What list is this? I looked on the tab labeled Trending and don't see it (on the homepage feed). Great news either way! If anyone hasn't and wants to help, slap that like button. I think it helps boost the video in recommended feeds to give it more publicity.

Nowadays you have to be extremely creative to stand out with music videos. Something like this is fine for a band like Tremonti.
