Man I wish I wasn't so dumb that I'd been fruitlessly waiting for it to turn up again without realising you could do this.

I seem to be able to get around that by clearing my internet search history :D

Some dude ripped the Octane stream and uploaded the song on Youtube. With a shitty quality tho.

Love that he's mixing things up! Variety is good.

Yea, I love the fact that he did a song like this. I thought his voice sounded really good on A Dying Machine. On this song it's the weakest factor. Still a pretty cool song. Can't wait to hear the HQ version.

Honestly I'd probably say the instrumentation is the weakest factor on the song :/

Marks Vocals
The Lyrics (While they're nothing original, I like the positive message they give which is different for what they usually sing about)
The Vocal Melody
Marks Solo
Garrets Drums (At least I can clearly hear his drumming)
The Guitars (Nothing too fancy or no amazing riffage)
The Bass (Couldnt hear it in the song on the radio at all :lol )
The Sound Quality (This is a joke since we dont have the iTunes version yet)

I take guitars like this over another galloping riff any day of the week.

Most of the song

the bridge.

Maybe the full quality version will be less arresting.

Can't quite process this one. It's got a ODR/Creed on speed vibe. I like it/don't like it/not sure it! Got some more synth strings in the bridge.

I don’t think Octane’s stream is the best quality. Gonna wait until Monday before really judging the mix/general sound of the song.

I love how catchy the song is. It was 80 degrees yesterday and I had this song cranked up while driving down the road. It all just felt right for a summer song.

Shout out to the people that STILL have faith in Elvis' team ability to mix a record. How many The Last Hero's do we need to admit the truth? Same inconsistency with new Sevendust. Dirty is severely loud and Not Original is fine. Such a shame.

I heard Sevendust's Dirty and quite frankly, when it comes to sound quality, I find that there was no difference in sound quality/mixing than any other heavy stuff that they have done.

A Dying Machine sounds fine to my pleb ears. I think the sound settings of Octane play a role in the weird sound quality of Take You With Me. Well, we will see on monday.

I wouldn't normally consider myself a fan of Tremonti's solo work, I consider it to be wanna-be try hard metal riffs with Tremonti's typical song structures, but I'm actually enjoying these two new songs. I was quite pleased with the newest one, the pop/punk sound is quite refreshing and is something new for Tremonti. So many songs on Dust and Cauterise sound almost exactly the same so I like that Tremonti is trying out different sounds.

Glad there was no repeat of the trouble getting it up on streaming platforms this time, great to hear it in good quality at last!

Following up on this thought, you may be onto to something with that notion. From that Octane playlist thingamabob, the first band that came up was Skindred and they are currently signed to Napalm. Either way, it's good that Tremonti is getting some footing/exposure in different platforms/radio stations/etc. They got to start somewhere and build on that.
