Mystery Possible Fret 12 Contributor

Mark did an interview with Billboard recently, I'm sure many of you saw it. For those that didn't, here it is -- http://www.billboard.com/articles/colum ... ed-reunion

The headline and lede of the story was about a possible Creed reunion. But if you look at the bottom, he says something pretty interesting about Fret 12:
He credits players like Root for spreading the word about Fret12 and encouraging others to participate. Tremonti says that although some guitarists initially declined when he asked them to join, “people are coming back around and asking to be a part of it.”

He also hints, “I don’t want to let the cat out of the bag, but we’ve got a hugely, hugely famous, incredible, amazing person” who reached out to Tremonti’s camp that is interested in getting onboard with Fret12, and they are in “pretty much the biggest band on earth. It would be a dream come true [if they joined].”

Hetfield was the first one that came to mind as well. I don't think we need to take the "biggest band in the world" too seriously.

I saw in the comment section of that link and someone said Hammett and that got me thinking, "You know, that's not really an unrealistic thing to happen, thinking about someone from Metallica wanting to do something with Fret12." I'm sure it would probably make Mark's life if Hammett or Hetfield want to do something like a Sound and the Story with Fret12.

Is Slash part of FRET 12 yet? Well, on the other hand he is not in one of the biggest bands right now lol.

My thoughts were also Eddie Van Halen, since Mark is so tight with Wolfgang.

May not be from the biggest band in the world, but I would like to see John Petrucci be a contributor.

I thought of Van Halen or Metallica based on his description. I'm really curious how this turns out. Hope it's a great thing for Fret Xii. I'd love to see that company take off.
