Dark Trip is easily top of my list, that song is so great. Providence is great, but it had so much potential and could have been better.

Providence had so much potential. I love all the parts, but you can't rush an epic song. If they'd taken their time on it, it probably would've been my favorite Tremonti song. Now it isn't even in my top 10 (gasp - I know).

I think Wish You Well is one of the most (if not the most) essential Tremonti project songs. It's also easily their best sounding live song. The fact that it's got so much history makes it even more special.

If I'm going to update this every time a new Dust track comes out, pretty soon it's going to be the entire Dust album by itself :lol :mtrocks

1. Providence (That Chorus!)
2. My Last Mistake (That Main Riff!)
3. Dark Trip (That Solo!)
4. Dust (That Solo!)
5. Brains (That Intro!)
6. Fall Again (That Bridge!)
7. The Things I've Seen (Those Vocals!)
8. All That I Got (That Bridge!)
9. Arm Yourself (That Chorus Riff!)
10. Giving Up (That Bridge!)

Agree. Providence felt rushed. The verses are too short. They needed to be extended to really build into the chorus.

Providence sounded too much like a standard Tremonti progressive pattern to me. Fingerpicking, extended rather heavy bridge, long drawn chorus.

Stone Sour's "Threadbare" has nearly the same pattern and isn't considered a progressive song.
