AXS.TV Rock on the Range
Re: AXS.TV Rock on the Range
Damnit.. the octane broadcast kind of sounded as if they mic'd the the amps/drums/vocals with cell phones rather than high quality mics. It had that overloaded sound

Sound quality was very poor. Mark sounded great though.
Re: AXS.TV Rock on the Range
Yeah Mark sounded pretty great! The mix was not very well done, but I imagine a better one to come for different festivals.
Re: AXS.TV Rock on the Range
Finally watched it this morning. Awesome video! The guys really owned the stage and it's great to see a pro-shot performance of "Another Heart".
The mix is not nearly as bad as some suggest. The guitars are a bit muddy but that's typical for live broadcasts, particularly festivals where sound checks are minimal.

Will this be uploaded to YT officially (or not so officially)?
EDIT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3yfAkeME_M
Heres some stuff. Have they streamed the full show or only these few minutes?

Re: AXS.TV Rock on the Range
Ok, this is WAY better sounding than what I heard on Octane
Re: AXS.TV Rock on the Range
That was awesome. Turn your volume off and watch from 6:24 - 6:33

Really? This still sounds pretty shabby to me.mitch103 wrote:Ok, this is WAY better sounding than what I heard on Octane

The octane stream was border line unlistenable (is that even a word?)
