Tremonti and MAB - "Burn"
Re: Tremonti and MAB - "Burn"
This entire album is awesome. I suggest it for any rock fan. You can hear Tremonti's solos pretty clearly due to his style of play.

Mark's part is 2:19-2:56.
It's cool to hear this with vocals. This song was originally released on Hands Without Shadows back in 2005 or 2006 (I can't remember). It's a cool record; as I recall it didn't have any vocals, so it's interesting that MAB decided to layer some on top for this re-release.
By the way, I've got a few other guest solos up here:

Is it me or does Mark's soloing sound kinda sloppy compared to Batio's?

Meh, the whole thing sounds like it's being played on an Atari to me.

Oh sorry guys I thought this was new, I didn't realize it had already been released.
Re: Tremonti and MAB - "Burn"
Compared to the ridiculously precise MAB, yes. His tone isn't the greatest in this song either, but I imagine that's because he just quickly popped into the studio to record his part.Mr. Slash wrote:Is it me or does Mark's soloing sound kinda sloppy compared to Batio's?

Really? Care to name more examples of better solos than the ones on AB or Tremonti? The only other references I find of him doing soloing on other stuff was with Fozzy or Sevendust, and I kinda did not find it as strong as with AB or Tremonti.
