Also making significant sales splashes were Sixx: A.M.‘s Prayer for the Damned, Vol. I and Tremonti‘s Dust. The two records shifted 20,000 and 15,000 in pure albums sales respectively.

If 15,000 is the right number, that's much more acceptable, but I'd much rather it be 150,000 AT LEAST. :(

Congratulations to Tremonti who entered the UK Album Chart at number 16 this week with their new album Dust, which also entered both the Indie Album Chart and Rock & Metal Album Chart at number 2. Dust is Tremonti’s highest charting album to date following last years Cauterize which reached number 23 whilst 2012’s All I Was fell just outside of the top 40 at number 41.

The new album, which is a companion album to and was recorded during the same sessions as Cauterize, features Mark Tremonti on vocals/guitars, Eric Friedman on guitars, Wolfgang Van Halen on bass and Garrett Whitlock on drums. Long-time friend and collaborator, Michael “Elvis” Baskette, produced Dust.

We know who's in the band and we produced it :)

Glad Dust is doing well!

The article was just stating that for the less educated audience or fans of the band...so what's your point, Chris? :headscratch :shrug

But yes I'm glad it's doing better than initially thought.

Finally received my package with the Dust bundles today. Apparently ghey shipped one signed cd short, so that was a little disappointing. I have sent them a mail about that and within hours I received a mail back with apologies and a mail with the usps tracking number for the missing cd. Within hours ! Dc3 was not able to do that within a year. Fret12 : greatest customer service ever experienced !!!!!

Sooo, Dust sold 1k more copies than Cauterize in the US? It's something I guess. Still the chart position is worse if you can believe Wikipedia. Cauterize was on 20, Dust on 34. At least it did better in the UK. Now I'm curious for the German chart position.

I don't understand why in this day and age with databases and metadata so readily available there would even be difficulty in finding the real number of copies sold let alone have 2 drastically different reports.

So my Dust Merch finally arrived! Is it just me or did something happen to my album cover shirt? The colors look much darker than advertised or like the album itself.

It's not just you. I've seen others with it more dull like that too. Also seen some with it looking normal.

On the upside, I still have the Dusted King one that doesn't have any discoloration going on.

I have one where it looks normal. Not a Fret12 shirt though.. EMP in Europe sold(is selling) them as a package with the album.

I like it dull'd like that, looks grungier and nice and dark. The cover is eye catching to say the least but on a t-shirt I think it would be too much on the eyes..

LPT for those that don't already know: if you flip graphic tees inside out before washing them, the image lasts longer.
