Great song. I was thinking though that the bridge riff could be a riff for another song by itself. Just a hard, heavy sound. On another note, and I may be completely off base, but the lyrics made me immediately think of Stapp.

Now that I've heard it a few times I take back anything I said before about the song being meh and eat dirty socks as penance. I love the lyrics and that solo sounds so good, Tremonti broke out from his signature sound that I love which must've have been hard to do. It's so cool to see him progress to try new things.

Also, LOVING that classic Dan Tremonti artwork if it's his. I prefer this brooding, ominous type stuff like the ODR remains cover to the skeleton, even if this is only the single art.

Anyway i'm not a big fan of this single, Flying Monkeys is way better.

First two minutes of the song feel very flat.
I like the latter half of the song though.
Don't think it will be played on the radio one single time, which makes me question why they chose this as a single.
I'm not terribly impressed, unfortunately
All I Was is my favorite album, so I entered this song very open minded but just don't love it.

I like it, not on the level of the other ones we've heard and more similar to the first album's style of heavy riff intro/bridge, more sedate verse and a catchy sing along chorus. It's good as a first single, prefer it to You Waste Your Time.

^Not sure of the need to add a skeleton to the artwork though The boat was cool on its own.
