Could be false or unofficial. The general rule of thumb for me is that no band is officially announced for Download until Andy Copping, the promoter of the festival, announces it, himself, through twitter or the Download Festival forum.
I'm sure he wants Tremonti though. Good sound, appropriate band for the festival, the AB association is there, also if he books them on the same day that Slash/Myles/Conspirators are playing, Mark could play with them during their set, which makes a good memory for the crowd there, plus Copping is a huge fan of Van Halen (band) and wants nothing more but to book Van Halen there in the future.

Well, I'm still up. I see some posters at the Download forum posting a picture of the latest poster and Tremonti is on it. I shall wait a little more until Copping makes it official in about 20 min. or so (which is when the next announcement is).

Oh I knew we are playing Download - I don't think we got main stage ( Because is says where we are playing on the deal memo).

I'll be all right if they play a side stage at Rock on the Range considering I'm always too cheap to buy a floor ticket to the main stage at that festival lol.

All right, now it's official in terms of placement. Tremonti will be playing on the Sunday (June 14) of Download Festival behind Kiss, Motley Crue, Slash/Myles/Conspirators, and Billy Idol.
