Kinda. I think it's another Dirty Girl kinda thing, but slightly darker and obsessive.

"Forbidden fruit it tastes so sweet
What can I do to get her close to me?
She is the only cure for my disease
Infatuation storms my heart
It's slowly breaking me, I fall apart
What can I do? I always fall so hard"

"She can do no wrong
Still she never seems to answer anymore

Her avatar shines so bright
But my obsession is the darkest kind
She doesn't even know that I'm alive"

Possibly a sequel in a modern Charlotte the Harlot-style trilogy? xD

He just uses metaphors to talk about being mentally obsessed with someone. It’s actually a really good song if you haven’t listened to it yet for fear of it being too sleazy lol.

No. It's about how crazy in love he is.

With a girl who doesn't know he exists.

It’s because it’s about a Guy stalking a girl on Instagram. He knows everything about her because of social media and he is obsessed with her but she doesn’t even know he exists because the guy only see her through social media

I replied before I saw the other replies. However just because he may feel that way, doesn't mean it's true. It is more than likely a stalker-ish song though.

The new record had like, 3 good songs. What a disappointment. The latest Halestorm record was better and even that wasn't very good.

I'm assuming "Lost Inside the Girl', "The One You Loved is Gone", and "The Great Pretender". They seem to be the standouts for everyone that I've discussed the album with.

Those first two have completely failed to grab me. Enjoy the Call of the Wild, Slow Grind and the Great Pretender, though.
For all of the hope that it brings...

Slow Grind is the only song that hasn't really clicked for me.

Not digging this album. Haven't really enjoyed the other Slash albums either. Slash is trying to make Myles Kennedy this gritty, 80s rock star, and he's just not. The lyrics don't feel genuine, and for the love of everything that is holy, there are such few moments of pure, unproduced Myles vocals that it's maddening.

He makes more money off of this, so at least he has that going for him. But this is just not a good fit.

didn't myles say he was a fan of aerosmith? He'd probably go better with that sound.

For those that care, Slash/Myles/Co is at Rock AM Ring today and will be streamed in about two hours from now. Let's see if this goes better than the AB streams that frustrates me when they played Rock AM Ring (guitars muted in 2017, hosts can't stop talking and cut part of the broadcast in 2011 and 2014).

At least Alice in Chains sound great right now. I'm pretty sure that Tremonti and Myles contribute a lot to the bad sound of their pro-shots. I mean we talked about this issue with Mark's lacking clean channel several times. Even on the RAH BluRay especially Mark's guitar sounds terrible.

I can buy that, but compare their proshot at Rock AM Ring to say Rock in Rio months later. AB's set at Rock AM Ring just had bad mixing altogether and Brian had to carry the set. Rock in Rio was more tolerable (aside from the fact that Myles was sick and I didn't even notice it until he stated it).

Speaking of guitarists. Slash sounds terrible so far. As if he isn't even trying to hit the notes correctly.

I saw them in the UK in February. Slash was on good form, in fact they all were. This footage looked like it was cold and windy... leather jackets on. Not necessarily easy to play outside when it's cold and rainy. Myles' nose was bright red. Brrrrrrr!
