That's an awesome review, Andrew! What a great show! I love how Myles has gotten so comfortable with his banter with the crowd. 10 years on the solo album and look where we are - hahahaha! Also, I'll bet a lot of us here know that's Dave, the guy with the face paint.
Glad you had such a great experience. Myles will always be worth any drive, with or without parking ahead of time. Thanks for sharing it!

Nice review Andrew!! You pretty much nailed it all. Mentioned all the highlights. I don’t really have much to add to that except that Love Can Only Heal is such an amazing song live. Breathtaking...Myles truly is the best musician in the world. He’s in a class of his own.

pretty good video from the show of Love Can Only Heal...the guy too quite a few good ones. the crowd doesn't quite get picked up as loud as we were, but you can still hear it well..and Myles sounds good.
Didn't know that the solo is played with a bottleneck. Kinda a pity that Tim is only playing the bass. I think a second guitar could give a lot to the performance.

The only window for Myles to do another US solo tour would be in November. Fingers crossed for you, Greg, for him to play a show in Denver. The problem is what big markets can he play that he hasn't already played in the tour in May? I mean if he's willing to do another SoCal show in a city like Anaheim or Santa Ana with a band, I'd gladly go again.

My family and I really enjoyed Myles' solo tour. I LIKE Myles' solo record, but being completely honest, its style isn't generally my thing. "Love Can Only Heal" is by far my favorite song on it, and lucky for me, he played it. I was hoping for a couple more Mayfield Four tracks from Second Skin (we got "Mars Hotel" which of course is a favorite), but it didn't happen.
I was right up on the stage, and yelled loud enough to request "Summergirl," which surprised him, and he said something to the effect of, "well, maybe some day, but for now, here's another melancholy song," and played "Love Can Only Heal."
Great night, and I really hope those who didn't get to see it, get a chance to in the future.

I found it quite odd. It sounds nothing like a slide on the album. And I swear the high part towards the end (when he reaches over the neck here) features some aggressive bending.
