Stroudsburg was doors 7, start 8. LAS started on time, played about 30min. Slash started around 9pm, played a little over 2 hours I think.

Baltimore concert was fantastic. Great to hear Beneath the Savage Sun live. Crowd was too mellow for most of it but that seems to be the norm. I expected to be bored with Sweet Child and Paradise City (not my favorites and heard so often) but even enjoyed them because the band is just so great live. Rocket Queen ~15 min solo 20 total but I actually loved it.

Glad to hear it! Wish I could've made it down but my schedule is just too packed this week. Luckily I'll be seeing them at MMRBQ this weekend.

Their crowds do seem to be pretty tame in general. I guess there are a lot of casual Slash fans, folks who show up to hear the GNR songs, maybe they heard "World on Fire" on the radio, etc. We die-hards comprise a much smaller portion of Slash's fan base than Alter Bridge's, for example.

When I saw them the crowd was really intense. Beats all the AB crowds I've been part of so far.

Anyway, glad you had a great time. I'm still kinda blown away by people who go to a Slash show and who complain about the Rocket Queen solo.

The crowd in Stroudsburg PA was rowdier I think. Certainly some GnR fans just knowing the basics, though a lot of people got into Back from Cali and Bent to Fly. I was in a cluster of Myles and Todd fans :) I did see some Alter Bridge shirts and shoutout to the guy in an AB shirt and the woman with him in the pink shirt who danced and sang along the whole time.

That RQ solo isn't just repetitive for 15 minutes either, if you're actually listening to it, it changes in subtle ways and so do the drums and bass. Maybe it gets repetitive for Frank but I don't think he'd complain either! I'll take that over a so-so extra opening act any day! I like that Slash only had one opening act, plays for over two hours, but it doesn't let out too crazy late at night.

I just wanted more songs instead of long solos, all right. As an AB fan, first, which means by proxy, a Myles fan, can you blame me for wanting to hear more from one of my heroes?

Also, I hated the crowd when I saw them in Temecula. The aura just does not feel right, unlike the AB show I went to. I felt like at home at the AB show even though it wasn't really as "active" as say the Slash show.

Myles usually sings about 18 songs with Slash, which is the same amount he does with Alter Bridge. If they shortened that solo I don't think we'd get another song in its place. They already play 20 songs, which is more than AB does and the show is longer than 2 hours.

I actually didn't get two hours. I only got like an hour 50, I think. The solo only lasted 10 min. in total.

Saw them last night at the MMRBQ festival in Philly. (Technically Camden.) I think they had to cut their set short since there was a one-hour rain delay earlier in the evening. I'm just glad they didn't cancel the remainder of the show outright. They did a very solid, tight set. No real surprises since it was a shorter set, but it was great hearing some of the newer material live for the first time -- World on Fire, Bent to Fly, etc. These guys are a class act and the whole place loved it.

This July show in NYC is appearing on Slash's website but I think it's a tribute band

Danger of these automated feeds I guess?

I guess. I don't know how the site let that one by, especially since they did just play in New York in a 3k capacity venue.

Hahahaha... what the heck?! I assumed all of the tour dates on Slash's website were input manually, not populated automatically via some web crawler/algorithm.

The bandsintown widget is convenient... until it's not? If it's just a matter of using the word, this must happen a lot with tribute bands or bands with similar names. it's still there!

Slash and Myles are on stage now, choose the SWR 3 stream to watch. Myles again with too much high register singing imo.

Gets even more annoying during the chorus of WoF he sounds like he has no power to sing that energetic chorus.

Why is Myles pronouncing dead so weird in "The Dissident"? He sounds kinda tired, but still incredible performance of course. (sorry if that seems nitpicky)

Yea, I thought he sounded really tired as well. It got better towards the end though. He also acted extra goofy this performance, which somehow annoyed me sometimes.
