Anxious to see them next month in my country =)
Here's the most recent show, February 12.

Oh shit, they did Double Talkin' Jive, that's fairly awesome.

They've done it live now a few times, actually.

That record has songs like Wicked Stone and Beneath the Savage Sun, and they're playing Too Far Gone and Avalon? Lol

So,

1. Covers (11) - 7 GNR
2 - World on Fire (6)
3 - Apocalyptic Love (3)

Good set list, I am satisfied.
Thank you, Ryan.

honestly, I'd hardly call Back From Cali a cover. Slash and Myles wrote it and they're both performing it.

so as much as everyone gets on AB for not playing new songs, this band does and now people are going to be picky about which ones based on their own preferences? really? the whole album is fantastic. they can't go wrong no matter which songs they decide to put on the set list in a given night. I'd prefer fewer covers, tbh.

I'm not sure why people dislike Avalon.. It's still one of my favourites from WOF. I think it would make an amazing opener btw. You're A Lie really is their worst opener yet.

And lol yea, "Slash Cover"...

The difference is that songs AB don't play as much like Bleed It Dry and Calm The Fire are huge fan favorites. You won't hear Avalon or Too Far Gone getting much attention anywhere. I've heard Octane play Wicked Stone and it isn't even a single.

I honestly didn't see Back from Cali. Yes, you are right, it is not a cover in a sense for both of them.

So, I think is better if we just say,

1. GnR (7)
2. World on Fire (6)
3. Apocalyptic Love (3)
4. Slash Solo (3)
5. Velvet Revolver (1)

Back From Cali is kinda tricky because although Slash and Myles wrote it, it's still a cover for Todd and Brent since they didn't play anything on Slash's first solo album. I can see why it was listed as a cover in that sense. It would be like if Slipknot played a Stone Sour song at a concert. Corey and Jim wrote the song, but you'd still call it a cover because there's a different drummer, bassist, etc.

not on the album, but that album wasn't really created as a band effort anyway. GNR, VR, yes, covers, but Slash and Myles are the credited songwriters on Back From Cali and both are performing the song. while Brent and TK didn't record the album, they've really taken ownership of those songs. they've played them more now than the guys that actually recorded those parts ever will. I don't consider those covers with this band. they're not band efforts like the AL and WoF songs, but they're not full on covers, either.

Disappointed in the broadcast. They left off the following songs from the set:

Nightrain
Back From Cali
Stone Blind
Mr. Brownstone
Sweet Child O Mine
Slither

They excluded those songs? That's not so bad, considering most of those are covers.. Good to see them getting some attention for the solo project.

It takes some balls to exclude Sweet child o' mine. I am not saying it is not a bad thing, I am just point it out.

I actually don't mind the cuts either. I can only take hearing GNR songs so many times lol. I'd still like to see Slash do a run where it's just the Conspirators material. I'd enjoy that show a lot now that I've seen the band before playing mostly cover songs.

Not sure how other songs are but they're up to 14 of the 17 off World on Fire. And Todd says on his blog that by the end of the year, the will play the rest of them. So that's pretty awesome.

I am not shure if they will ever do that, because most of the people go to the shows to see Slash playing GnR songs.
