Anyone see the video he posted with no audio? Think it's for the solo album?

All right. Maybe, he might get this one out, this time. Usually, Myles books his year in advance and we would have heard something by now if he is working with Slash and the Conspirators in 2018, but for the most part, from what I have interpreted in interviews and articles, he's seems to be leaning towards solo album after AB is done with the touring cycle.

Myles posted this pic on Facebook about meeting up with Zia for the first time in years. Sounds like we're getting a quasi-MF4 reunion on the solo album!!

I mean, he never stated that he and Zia met to make music together, right?

It's been such a long time...
I hope they'll manage to recapture the old magic, but for that to happen, Myles will need to put himself in the right mind set and forget about all he's done since 2004.
And by that, I mean work with a producer who will challenge him vocally.
If you look colsely at the picture, you see a red devil, which means they're in Elvis' studio.

Maybe this isn't a solo record after all. Maybe it's a MF4 reunion

holy shit

Piggy-backing off of this - what if it is a MF4 reunion, but it's listed as a solo act? Like it's not under the MF4 name because Myles Kennedy's name has more brand value.

^^ I would be disappointed honestly though if it was like that. If it turned out to be like that, then we wouldn't see Myles as a solo act with just an acoustic guitar like the way Chris Cornell did his solo shows (all right, he actually had one cello player in his final acoustic tour, but the idea remained the same).

Its interesting to me that Elvis was the engineer for Second Skin, and he's now a producer.

That's the crazy thing about Elvis. He was there during the Second Skin sessions, which probably have the best Myles vocals ever. Why can't he record and mix them the same way nowadays?
I don't know why he has to use some many effects and echo on his vocals on the AB records. We've discussed this to death, but the vocals need to be as raw as possible on this solo album. Myles can sing like no one else on the planet and he doesn't need all those studio tricks.

That would be a cool album title! All these teases are really getting me amped up for this though. Seeing a lot of vintage instruments and recording equipment, and I guess Tim Tournier is playing bass or something on this album since he's been posting a lot of stuff too?

So Im digging into this way too much probably but year of the tiger... 1974. According to wiki Myles lost his father when he was four which would line up to be 1974. I think this is the solo album according to the interview where he talked about the subject matter having a bit to do with that. Again, probably digging into it too much and being way too fanboying but yea...

I thought the year of the tiger would be referring to when the album will be out which would be 2022....... :lol :lol
