I always forget how good this band was. Was Myles' band before TM4 and after Cosmic Dust. Though they are different from TM4 and definitely AB, they were still very good. Major respect points to anyone that's seen them live or has a cd (or cassette) of them.

This is a good thread. I find this band too "groovy" for me sometimes. Like my favorite song of theirs is Where Are You, but I even find the symphosizer or whatever in the chorus near the end too groovy. The "Where Are you *NOTE* Where Are you *Note* Where are you nowwwwwwwwww" is a little too much, but I don't really dislike any songs. I don't find any of their songs great, like I do some MF4 songs, or Burn it Down, Cry of Achilles, Fortress, or Blackbird, but I don't find any of their songs awful, like I do Cry a River or We dont care at All. Everything's either decent or meh to me.

Killer Killer band. All The Same is epic.

Myles at his finest. Have been listening to this for a while now. Anybody know of any original copies going around?

For any of you with $100 to kill and a deep passion for Citizen Swing and a willingness to buy a product with a bit of uncertainty to it's physical condition: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Citizen-Swing-C ... 1c3d0df279

I bought one years ago, before MK blew up. Still cost me about £40.

Wow! It may be the 9 track & not the standard 8 track that was first released... it's still pretty pricey!

Just recently started listening to Citizen Swing and wow am I sad that I didn't do it earlier. I haven't spent too much time on the second album, mostly because what I love about this band is the groove. The first album is so catchy, great choruses, love the trumpet (being a trumpet player), and absolutely love Myles. Is there anything this guy can't do?

According to TVTropes, he can't whistle.

But, Citizen Swing is INCREDIBLE. I absolutely love them.

The question was mostly rhetorical :P He also isn't very good at being an entertaining/engaging frontman, especially without his gee-tar. It's mostly the same one or two hand gestures, but I admire him all the same!

Pretty much anything Myles touches turns into gold, so it's no surprise that Citizen Swing sounds so great. Too bad they didn't really go anywhere with it :/

Technically they did go somewhere with it: The Mayfield Four ;)

Citizen Swing is pretty good. They're very upbeat. I like them.

I liked the bridge of Feelers, the ending of Forgive.

Owed to 7 I liked.

There are some other songs but im too lazy right now to post all of them lol.

There are some amazing solos on Cure Me With The Groove. If you don't believe Mark when he says how good Myles is on the guitar, check out that album. As far as Deep Down, I think that was when they broke away from their producer and did their own thing, and man, they really made one heck of an album! Forgive, Now 'Till Then, All the Same... every song on that album is gold. Yeah, Citizen Swing is pretty much always in the rotation when I'm in the mood for Myles.
