National #MylesSoloAlbum Movement!

Simple enough. Saw the idea (yes it is a stolen idea) tossed around in another thread. We all need to schedule a date this week to tweet at myles about his solo album, in one way or another. It is something we have anticipated for many years, and ya never know, with the type of guy Myles is maybe he'll give us some info about it! It's currently monday night my time, so can we shoot for a thursday or a friday tweetfest? Also, when you tweet him, please dont forget to wish him luck with the new ab record, as he will probably be working on finishing up when the movement occurs.

Also, how many people would it take for him to make a public announcement somewhere about it?

i dont know... maybe if he sees enough of it he'll give in and give us something!

i think as long as #solorecord is in it, whatever you ask him is fine. Release dates, song titles, or if we're EXTEMELY lucky, maybe song previews

Wow. What a great idea! Wherever did you get it? Whoever thought of it must be pretty smart, and definitely not bitter at all for having his/her idea bogarted like this!

I'm definitely in, but we need to agree on a hashtag. I think #MylesSoloAlbum would work, as it's fairly short and simple. I just think we should agree on one because it'll help it trend more. And everyone should know about Myles.

Alright, hashtag is decided. Next to step is to pick a date. I think we want to pick a date that is relatively soon, not too far away so the movement doesn't lose momentum.

I think Myles goes back out with Slash on June 29th for a show in Canada and on July 6th through July 25th.

Soon would be like next Wednesday, June 26th. Either that or wait until the end of July after the mini Slash tour ends.
