Oh man, really? Myles is in Here's To Us? Damn, I was hoping it was something else. Like something new along the lines like Private Parts with James Michael.

Edit: Hmmm, ok, this version with a buttload of top-notch singers. Brent Smith, Myles, James Michael, Tylor Connolly, David Drainman, & Maria Brink and you can hear guitar parts that has to come from Slash.

Loved the little runs and the solo Slash added to the song. But man, those guest singers sound so awkward lol. I almost fell over laughing when I heard Drainman singing that.

Myles was singing in a really low register too.

Ok, after listening to it a couple of times, this is pretty good. You're right, Andy. Drainman's part really sounded out of left field, but, not in a bad way, it was rather different and great to hear.

Hmmm, well, the thing is that the guest vocals did not arrive until the closing moments of the song (which is essentially, Halestorm's pomp and circumstances moments, which can be corny at times, if you relate a feeling like this to like high school graduations or something) and I guess they wanted to have group vocals to have a big celebrating-feel closing moment.

Another interesting thing when I heard the original version and looked at the wiki page on the album is that Wolfgang Van Halen did some small backup vocals on it which sounded a little different from what I've heard from the videos I've seen when he did backup vocals with Mark.

It's strange to only have each singer do one line each. It seems like they could have done more with that. Maybe only have Slash, Brent and Myles, with Brent and Myles doing duet-style vocals during the verses and maybe all together on the last chorus

I think the problem is that singing it in a higher register would be damn high even for Myles. I think that's why he sang it the way he did.

I don't mind this song but I think one with Myles and Lzzy only would be really cool. I don't listen to Halestorm often but her voice is killer. Hearing them harmonize would be something else.

Just heard this version of the song on Octane! Usually I've been hearing the version with just Slash's solo and no guests.
